Hot blondes crazy for darker guys and vice versa, go for your opposite if you're a guy?

I notice it a bit in real life and even when snooping through Instagram accounts of hot girls when I am bored. Not sure how much confirmation bias is going on here.

What I notice is that hot blondes and especially good looking redheads love darker skinned men. I don't necessarily mean just black guys but also dark haired white guys and ethnic guys as well. Seem to notice that whenever I see a minority with a hot white girl, it is always a blonde or redhead.

It seems borderline rare for me to see hot blondes going for blonde guys or hot redheads going for redheaded dudes, they seem to go for dark haired guys in general.

Now on the flip side, I notice that with a lot of hot brunettes and Mediterranean looking girls, blond men are the craze. It seems borderline rare for me to see a hot brunette going for a guy with dark hair.

I even notice this with interracial relationships, you rarely see some hot Italian looking chick mixing it up while Nordic women seem to do it a lot more often.

What I think is, maybe you should approach your opposite as a guy if you want hot girls?

If you're a dark haired guy, go for blondes and redheads.

If you're a blond or redhead guy, go for women darker than you.

I have noticed this as well, I see a lot of African American males together with the whitest/palest redheads. I also see a lot of African American women with guys who are blonde and extremely pale.

Actually I notice that black women aren't that crazy for blond and pale white guys, it is usually Asian and latin women but especially darker skinned white women like Italian and just any tanned brunette.

As for redhead women, I see them going interracial a lot. I have seen them go for Asians, Indians, Hispanics, and even Arabs (who are considered to be the lowest value race in the western dating market).

I can confirm this from my experience. I'm strawberry blonde & blue eyed. I only very rarely find blonde men attractive and I don't much like the Caucasian clean cut look. I personally prefer swarthy men. Mediterranean of some variety., Spanish, Italian, Arab, Indian.

Or Argentine. Ice blue eyes and a dark 5 o'clock shadow? A little salt in the dark hair?

Its weird for sure.

I seem to see so many hot brunettes, and I am talking just white girls here, with goofy looking and uglier blond guys that I cannot doubt what you have said for a second.

Maybe it is because I live in the south but I see way too many chubby blond and light haired guys with Megan Fox lookalikes, literally bizarro world here.

Yet on the flip side for as racist as this place may be, I've seen a handful of Latino, Indian, Asian, and ethnic guys with blonde girls and especially redheads.

Guess women really hate men that vaguely resemble them hair color wise, which is why I rarely see that many blondes dating blond guys.

As much hate as we give to Asian women, I think Latinas take the cake when it comes to hating their men a lot. Blond guys are definitely the craze in Southern Europe but those women literally throw their men to the curb. It is no wonder Spanish and Italian men are desperately trying to hook up with and marry tourists.

There seems to be a great amount of self-hatred among Latinas and Southern European women that rivals the self-hatred that Asian women in the western world have.

Not sure why either, white men with dark hair are generally considered more desirable and handsome than blond men.

The model for male attractiveness has always been "tall, dark, and handsome" though. So I think that the whole "opposite attracts" thing probably works for brunette women as well, but probably to a lesser extent than blondes. It's probably a weaker effect with dark haired girls, although I guess they'd be more apt to drool over Thor

Women also have a tendency to lighten their hair, no matter what natural color they may have. The idea of female beauty seems to incorporate more bright colors. Redhead females tend to be more appreciated than redheaded men, for example.

I also think that the more attractive a guy is, the easier it is for him to overcome these tendencies. I've always been fairly average looking, so I think I was more at the mercy of those tendencies. Whereas girls would probably go for a really hot looking guy no matter what the color their hair.
