Girls who work in retail can be tricky to gauge. The last time I went in to Banana Republic, the girl who was helping me was really pretty, nice, and seemed like she may be interested in me. When I was checking out, she asked, "so what do you need navy blue shorts for, anything special?" However, I kind of just chalked it up to her being nice and doing her job well, rather than being interested.
But then I got to thinking - because it's tough to gauge whether she's into you or she's just good at her job, it doesn't matter all that much. All you can really ask for when trying to pick up girls is the interaction, whether it's forced or not. The cold approach is one of the toughest and most intimidating parts of dating, but when you walk into the store she works at, she takes care of the approach for you because she HAS to. So there you go, you get your chance without having to really do anything.
I promise I'm not one of those guys who thinks Hooters waitresses and strippers like him lol.
Anyone have any stories of past success and/or advice?
