"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

For the past two months I feel like ive lost my swaggar or luster if you will. Before this all happened i felt myself changing. I was happier, more outgoing and much more friendly to people. I felt like i had the toatl package just about...charm, ability to talk about anything and i think i was entertaining. Once everything started going downhill i tried to get back up but nothing worked. I couldnt think of convo topics, i wasnt c&f, and peoples opinions were a concern of mine. Lately its been a little better cause i got my job back, but theres still some holes that i cant seem to patch. Im not as nearly as outgoing as i was during my previous briff stint. I think i still have the charm due the the way i say things, my voice, and my smile. But when it comes to making conversation with people, im no good. Sometimes ill humor someone and talk to them, other times i dont say anything cause i see no point. Ive tried reading everything i read before but it seems to not have an effect. Three things happened that i feel could have been the cause of this...1) i went snowboarding and hit my head a lot (i honestly feel a little more retarded than before) 2) starting school or 3) one of my "friends" came back who is one of the loudest, attention craving, pessimistic person ive ever met.

I really dont know what else to do...i just can seem to get up and over this hump.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Personally, I'm just starting to get out of one of these ruts. I can totally understand where you are coming from. You understand the concepts and you've risen to the top, but then you suddenly lose your motivation. The important thing is to keep forcing yourself to meet NEW people. I've found that going around starting conversations with people whom I don't know really helps to get the wheels rolling again. Sometimes, after you've hung out with a certain crowd too long, things start to go stale. What I like to do is just rotate between a good half-dozen cliques and keep meeting new people. Keep it fresh, and you'll do fine.

Yea, at some point before i could tell you everything i would say/do with or to a girl just bye looking at her. Now im just like blah. I still must be doing something right cause i attract girls easily. I think im too imtimidating cause my friends tell me how random girls talk to them...doesnt happen to me...ever. Theres not really much to do around here. If i didn have a girl i couldnt watch a movie at my house cause my parents decided to make things difficult, but i guess i need other options. I feel the same way about cliques, which is why i want to move. I need to move on with people and start my own clique. It also seems like when im around people ive known for a while i stay the way they know me, shy and reserved. When im around not as many people i know but a few people whom i have a good relationship with, im a totally different person. Hopefully if i move all most of my problems would be alliviated.
