I've talked to my cousin about this, my cousin is a guy who is 6'2, A really good guys guy, upstanding dude who moves with morals and isn't on some FBoy shyt in good shape makes over $105K a year at 35 years old(Top 5% yes even in the midwest a 100K will not get you in the top 1% in 2025) etc. He used to be a simp and after 2 failed relationships in the last 5 years, he is now "Mr Redpill". To the point that I had to tell him to chill with the overconsumption of redpill content on youtube. The main thing we both agreed is that social media ever since covid has hyper-accelerated women's delusions and dating etc.
My Cousin (lets call him "Todd")has 4 dates lined up tomorrow. He's not rich but for where we live that is great money and puts him in the top 5%(once again). He meets 90% of women via OLD his pictures are him on the beach without a shirt, 1 at a football game, 2 of him with friends at a nice restaurant etc. Todd is not a flashy type, the only way you know he's got money is if you go to his place (he lives in a new condo etc). Why am I saying all this? Todd is not looking to just smash or pump and dump he's done that, at 35 he now is looking for a wife and having a hell of a time. We know the problems OLD has, but for him his issue is more nuanced, meaning most of the women he meets don't bring anything to the table outside of their baggage and they have high expectations of the lifestyle. Todd is meticulous when it comes to vetting women, so many don't make the cut. He's even lowered his standards because he feels getting a woman who is less attractive will make her more loyal when that hasn't been the case. He now doesn't give a shyt and wants the hottest of the hot
My point is this 20 years ago Todd would have been of the market, because he's a catch but in 2025 he has to pump and dump beause these women are not wifey material and don't bring anything to the table besides a wet mouth.
