"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

I'm a very shy person that never gets any girls and I decided to change that, so I started reading loads of stuff (my favorite works were Pook's lessons, the guide to be a Man and the Kino guide). So I will put all the things I kept in mind or took notes of (that I will have to apply)... Please correct me if I'm wrong at places or add stuff that I'm missing

How to improve yourself
- Don't change for a girl, but learn from your mistakes
- Don't boast or show off
- Don't lie or be dishonnest
- Be nice to people (by congradulating on their actions, for exemple)
- Have a good sense of humor
- Be willing to laugh at yourself and don't take jokes seriously
- Be smooth
- Have a good posture and be imposing
All this leading to a better image of yourself, therefore more selfconfidence

How to build confidence
- Do things that normally scares you to build confidence
- Practice rejection (by approaching loads of girls in non too serious way)
- Always act, don't hesitate
- Rejection > Regret
- Don't masterbate (???)

How to approach girls
- Always smile and look inviting
- Don't try to impress anyone

How to talk to girls
- Use Kino (start with a handshake)
- Ask open questions, don't talk much about yourself
- Ask her out somewhere relax (if conversation went well)

How to act with girls
- Treat them like normal persons, don't put them on pedestals
- Don't try to buy a girl's interest
- Let your actions do the talking
- If she is not interested, move on

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Except for the one in bold, this is all good. There's no reason why masturbation should affect one's confidence. As for the underlined one, I'd prefer if it said "let your actions speak for your character".

Not talking about yourself at all and thus constantly bombarding her with questions is a big mistake. The best way to talk to a girl is the same way you probably talk with one of your close friends, i.e. 1) There's an equal give-and-take, 2) you share your thoughts and opinions on whatever you may be talking about (this is probably your main confusion; what "don't talk about yourself" is supposed to mean is "don't brag"), and 3) you only ask questions that you are genuinely interested in knowing the answer to, otherwise you make comments and statements. Also, regarding Kino, the handshake is fine for when you tell her your name, but at the beginning of the approach you should find a way to touch her on the upper arm or shoulder as well.

There's one last thing you're missing: field practice .

I forgot to mention one other thing about conversation. Women (men also, but especially women) relate far better to feelings than they do to facts. Therefore, when you talk about something you should try to focus on the feelings associated with the topic rather than the raw factual details. For example, if you recently tried waterskiing for the first time, talk about how you felt while trying it rather than what was involved in doing it.
