Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
:crackup:speakeasy said:You want two days worth of calories all in just one drink? Uh...why?
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
I've pushed close to that for gaining reasons. At half that, that is barely maintenance for me. Again, FOR ME. Each person will vary in what they need, but I need lots of calories.speakeasy said:You want two days worth of calories all in just one drink? Uh...why?
So let me comprehend this... You WANT to consume 4,000cal in the morning, but NOT throughout the whole day? As in you want to do 4,000cal for breakfast then not eat the rest the day?e-lie said:Thanks for the good rely omen.I'm 6'0 175 so yet I'm going to need to consume that much every morning but not through out the day.Any othe shake over the counter u guys might know of![]()
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

mrRuckus said:There's a diet particularly meant for a recomp/cut where you fast for 18 hours then eat ALL of a whole day's calories in 6 hours after you workout. There's a thread going on about it now at ironaddicts.com. Some people have started trying it and eat anything from 2-3 meals in those 6 hours.
It has something to do with your parasympathetic nervous system and how it works... and apparently there isn't any more catabolism than any other below maintenance diet... and you're not hungry during the fast.
The Warrior Diet. Appearently is slows down metabolism & raises energy levels. It also "frees" you from having to eat every 3 hours.mrRuckus said:There's a diet particularly meant for a recomp/cut where you fast for 18 hours then eat ALL of a whole day's calories in 6 hours after you workout. She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
This is a man's shake ladies and gentlemen. :rockon:EFFORT said:Seriously just make your own shake heres my mass gaining shake
3cups milk
3scoops protein powder
3 raw eggs
3 bananas
1/2 cup oats
1 serving peanut butter
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
2 scoops of icecream
that b*tch is over 1000 cals
That's similar, but this one is somewhat different. I forget the differences.stronglifts said:The Warrior Diet. Appearently is slows down metabolism & raises energy levels. It also "frees" you from having to eat every 3 hours.
I'm going to experiment with it next fall.
I never meant to imply to drink shakes, though I guess you assumed because of what the thread was originally about. The only time i drink liquid protein is before bed in caseine and during/after lifting... or a big cup of raw eggs.Street_Fighter said:I heard about that 'diet' also but it's geared more towards 'actual food' and not just liquid gunk.
Could you send me a link mrRuckus? I'm interested in knowing more about that diet.mrRuckus said:That's similar, but this one is somewhat different. I forget the differences.
I don't think it slows metabolism and the warrior diet is geared towards one meal while this one is 2 or 3. Ah, they're calling it "intermittent fasting."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
