What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I've never had one but I have known people that have and got those meshes and have had issues with them, have had to get them redone/replaced or have had to have other surgeries to repair it more than once. It's a b!tch, especially for guys since our abdominal walls are naturally weaker than women due to them giving birth.

It's a tough area...literally use your core for pretty much everything you do so it's not like that area can effectively ever really rest so to speak.

Also muscles typically heal weaker and will be more susceptible to re-occuring, so you will need to be doing strengthening exercises regularly to help the area get stronger to mitigate this as much as possible.

I will second the warnings about mesh, I have known several men and women who have had complications with them. I have also seen patients develop sepsis from mesh implants that requires life support just to stabilize them enough to go into surgery.
