"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I've never experience anything like this. My LD g/f IL is way too high. I've gone out w/ women who've fallen hard in love w/ me in the past, all of which told me that they never loved someone like me, I know BS. However, this lady seems to have even more interest in me.

She calls or texts me first thing in the morning, then we usually talk about 3-4 nights per week. I don't always answer her calls or reply to her text msgs right away so that I constantly appear busy.

I had to post pone our next trip because of my stupidity and she has been totally supportive. I want to let her know how much I appreciate her supportiveness, however I struggle w/ not getting too mushy or appearing AFC.

Its hard to know where to draw the line. Not sure of the purpose of my post, just a rant to try think things out I guess.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I am experiencing something similar in my current relationship. I think it's just the newness and passion in the relationship, which is bound to die down over time. I don't mind though. I like the attention and kind of pace it. We have class together and she lives only a few miles away from me. I reciprocate her attention without getting mushier than she is and it seems to work out. We don't really talk on the phone, though we text message each other almost everyday and see each other about 3-4 times a week.

Anyway. I'd just say this girl really likes you. Just keep it real. Oh, and IL always goes up a lot after you have had sex the first time (well, unless you are a terrible lay).

The hell? Since when is that too much attention? I have several friends in long-distance relationships who get texts and calls from their girls every day. Hell, that was the case in my LD relationship, too. In my opinion, if you're a long distance away from a girl who's supposed to be committed to you and she doesn't make some sort of effort to communicate with you in a day, that's not a good sign.

First of all, you're in a LDR...what the hell are you thinking? She could be espousing her love and devotion for you while some other guy is plugging her in the butt.

Second of all, she sounds like she might be a bit of a head case if she's that clingy over you, especially in a LDR.

A woman who's too distant(figuratively, not literally) is a bad thing, but so is one who is too clingy.

Something smells stinky with this relationship.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
