"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

The girl im with has a family of nutters. I havent met them. But they hate me.Why?I dont know.

Anyways, they are trying to persuade her to break up with me.They are emotionally blackmailing her . She tells me everything. Tells me how she cant stand them and why they are reacting like that.

Ive read the messages her mother sends her (girl lives out at college) saying she wishes i was dead (lol) and that the girl has deviated and isnt innocent anymore. Her aunty is another nut case.

She loves her family as she is religious and family orientated. She loves me and isnt being phased by the pressure but still it is a problem.

I needed to ask how i should approach this? Surely by showing my frustration towards the situation isnt wise? Should i just act calm and just listen? How should i respond to this situation?

Or in other words, how do i be the 'rock' in this scenario?

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

This hasn't happened to me in a LONG time since most women I see are grown women in the 30s and 40s. But in my younger days (HS and College) I don't think there was a single girl I was hooking up with whose family didn't hate me. People often have a VERY hard time when their daughters become sexually active... or suspect as such. And if you are a certain type of guy... well, naturally you will be the center of attention.

My advice is not to worry about it... this is going to play out, just enjoy the ride. If it stops being fun, then move on. This is her problem not yours. I would caution you on letting her go on and on about how much her family hates you, don't put up with that sh!t. She is playing a strong game of manipulation on you , and you don't even realize it. She is the damsel in distress, don't be the knight to her rescue... The fact that you are on here asking what to do mean you are thinking about this too much.

This is usually a no-win situation. If she still has lots of contact with them, they will eventually prevail. She will be convinced to leave her stallion and go searching for a magical unicorn.

Best thing you can do is ignore them. Don't feed it. If you engage you are only giving them what they want. If your lady is truly in love with you she will ignore their drama too. If not then the relationship will fail and you won't have spent a lot of emotions and energy fighting a losing battle.
