So I'm 17 and this girls 16. I've never had a gf before, and I'm new to this forum. (I'm done being a *****) I'm sick of people saying I "misread" her signals, she acted as if she had a crush on me for many months. I showed interest back, never did anything, and she and her friends looked on sadly and didn't do anything herself. Fast forward to my last day of school, my friend hears me talking about it, pranks me and dm's her on Instagram saying how "I think she likes me" and how he doesn't want me to feel embarrassed if I try to talk to her. She comepletely denies it all, and she keeps staring the next day. To make it even weirder, I added her on snapchat, she doesn't add me back. So I did what I now realize wasn't smart, and told her I'd wanted I talk for months and I was sorry and I knew she wanted to as well, without her even knowing me. She probably got creeped out from me coming on too strong, saying "sorry if I gave you that vibe, it's nice to be an honest person but nah I'm not interested in a relationship." I go "that's okay, can we friends" she says "fine, we can be friends I guess." 3 days later, I asked her to meet at a local event, start over as friends and allow me to casually get to know her and leave her with a better impression of myself. She says "can't I'm going away for awhile" so I said "cool, where to?" And she replies "road trips with boyfriend." I acted like I didn't give a **** even though she knows I like her, humoursly brushed it off and said I'd hit her up once again in a week or two, and We'd still do something as friends. She replied "thanks." At that point, if she wasn't interested, why didn't she just ****ing say, "don't wait a week to contact me again I don't like you!" I haven't texted her since, and I found out that she doesn't have a boyfriend. I just want to know where in the high holy **** I went wrong with this girl, and why after months of giving me signals and almost making herself look desperate by gawking at me to approach her, that when I dm her and say I wanted too and I'm sorry, blah blah blah, she denies it all and acts so weird. If she said we can be friends, I expect her to maybe chill as friends sometime... why is it that when I ask her to chill, ONLY as friends, she says she can't, because she's doing something with a fake boyfriend! like she must be trying to game me or make me jealous, or maybe I'm correct I assuming I waited so long, she's defensively acting aloof because she feels Too easy, thus resulting in the need to inform me of a "boyfriend" after she said she didn't want a relationship and we could be friends. I like this forum, because you people actually believe what you read, instead of trying to convince me I misread her... If it was any more ****ing obvious she wanted me to approach, she'd flash her tits for Christ sake! I now regret not doing it, but I want to know what is going through her head, if she wants me to work my butt off for her and see how much I like her, or for some mysterious reason after 9 months of acting like she likes me, she decides to stop one day. Holy **** please help, I'm so sick of this, and I just want this girl to stop whatever game she's playing and be happy that I actually grabbed my balls and said something to her. Jesus...
