help with my website design

ive got to create a website for a university module, heres the brief ive been given

You are a designer who has been employed by magazine to create an on-line edition of their physical publication. The on-line edition will have some different content and be expected to make full use of the multimedia capabilities of the Internet, but follow the corporate style of the paper version.

and heres the magazine im basing it upon

And heres what ive come up with, all the infomation such as cars details, pictures etc will be displayed below all of this but i havent thought about any of that yet

The coloured - - - are the links to the specific sections such as hatchbacks

let me know where ive gone wrong, colours, the picture, size etc

i actually find the coding very easy, i could knock that up in an hour or less, the designing can take me weeks to do though
