"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Guys I need help. There is this girl I know who has a very abusive boyfriend. I happen to know she likes me which is a good thing but let's face it - we all know that girls are loyal to guys that treat them like dirt. I need to know some good things I can do to break this bond of loyalty between them. I am not kidding here - he does everything from slapping her to calling her stupid in every conversation. Any advice / ideas of what to do / say would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Thanks

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Other than saying "have some f*cking self respect you scuzz", that's one of those situations where most options will by nature be AFC actions. Beat his ass if you can, if not, I dunno lol...somebody will have a good answer

Let me get this straight... You actually need to convince a girl to get out of a relationship in which the guy beats her and treats her like crap?!

It isn't your problem, don't be captain saveahoe if she can't figure out that a guy calling her stupid all the time qualifies as an "unhealthy" relationship there really is no point.

Yeah DJ in making's right - there's about a 1% chance that you'll understand because you're blinded by your feelings for her - but these types of chicks are just not worth it. If by some out of the blue chance she does leave him for you, these types of broads will run back to him at the first sign of "he's different now.."

I'll give you my advice, and listen me on this.

Go to the girl, and say, in a direct way, that you know what's going on, and tell her that you don't want to see her like that. Do this, and you won't feel guilty for not helping her.

Now, she could hear you, and that's great. Now let her break up and then get the girl.

But, let's face it. Probably, she is to much loyal to the bastard. 'What can I do?', you wonder. Forget her. It's the best thing you can do. If you don't, you'll find yourself dragged by her problems.

Take my word on this. Over the last days, I've been in the same exact situation. And I truly cared a lot about the girl. All over the week, people kept telling me what happened, and how bad she was beaten. In a few days, I was dragged by her problems. I was beggining to get affected by her situation, and always having to get in contact with her, dodging her boyfriend, was putting me under extreme stress. I couldn't focus on myself anymore, always thinking how could I help and what I should do.

Luckly, I knew to where I was heading, so I grabbed the fvcking phone and called her. After a few tries (her bf don't let her answer calls from almost anyone) I managed to get an answer. I was direct, and confronted her with the problem. She denied it all. Yet, I knew she was lying. I talked with her, and showed that I cared. She don't want anybody's help.

I tried to help her, and knowing that, I don't feel guilty for not doing something. I finally could calm down, knowing I had done everything I should do, at the very least as a close friend I once was.

Remember that it's not worth it. She has a lot of emotional bagage, and you will only get problems that are not even directly related to you. Just confront it with the situation. If she don't hear you, forget she even exists. Save yourself.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

i hate to say this but most girls are stupid and since i'm an dumb kind of guy i would put my body on the line and beat the guy up i would start a big fight with him the next time he hit her then i would tell her the reason i fought was because of her if she doesn't quit him then then i would forget it and graduate and move on

No disrespect bro, but I get the feeling she's trying to play you for a chump. It's obvious what she's doing : 1) using you as a shoulder to cry on and dump all her emotional baggage on you, and 2) running back to the jerk to get her brains fv(ked out.

My advice would be to just stay away from this situation because she's obviously an attention wh0re. I say stay away because by picking a fight you run the risk of getting arrested and insnared in a web of drama. This alone will get in the way of school and work, and to top it off, she ain't givin you any play. Also keep in mind that if you have any kind of criminal record you can pretty much forget about landing a decent job.

It isn't worth it. There are plenty of other girls out there with less baggage.

Agree 100%. The sad reality is she's just as much to blame for staying with this a55hole.

There could actually be psychological conditioning behind this ie she was beaten as a child by her father or family friend in an athorative position. In any event girls like this should not be concidered for courtship. Infact unless you have a ton of self restraint and don't get involved with people's private lives too much, the I would recommend not even being her friend. Sounds kinda harsh, but people need to seek within themselves the want to stand up for themselves. More often then not this also involves hours of theropy and support of a nature that you likely cannot and do not want to provide.

....is the correct answer!

The Dutchman has taken my thunder here, but to sort of reword what he said, This girl is not worth getting your knuckles bruised and possibly seriously injured. Yes, the abusive boyfriend is an utter punk that requires an "attitude adjustment", yet, that is not your problem. Sounds like this "damsel in distress" is using you as a puke recepticle and will go back to Mr. Smaka*****round for what she craves. I've had it happen to me.

Just backing it up.

This chick likes her current dude more than she likes you... simple as that

Its funny what some chicks will put up with... I mean, I've ****ed some girls over and treated them bad, and they'll still bend over backwards to please me, lol...

The way it works is that this guy is in control of his situation... if you treat a girl bad, then it just means she'll try even harder for you not to treat her bad, but of course she doesn't really have the ability to change things

As far as you're concerned, you want to avoid this situation. She's got her girlfriends to look out for her

He's a loser or failing that he;s an AFC... probably needs the experience of trying to save her only to have his heart broken when she gets back with the abusive BF.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

This girl is major LSE and therefore not worth it. She'll be your problems if you take her on. Detach yourself from her and get a bird's eye view of the situation.
