"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

hey all. im new to the forums and have read most of the rules. just correct me if i did something wrong...

anyway. this girl in my class and i have been "hi/bye" friends for the past year, and just recently we have started talking more. a couple of weeks ago i got her phone number:D and we have talked by phone a couple times. she currently doesnt have a boyfriend and she said that she can only get into relationships if she has been good friends with the guy for a while.

Yesterday i asked if she wanted to do something over the weekend and she said yes. she wants me to come to her house or wants to come to my house.

anyway, my question is: do i worry about being in the "friendzone" in this situation. she wants to be friends and we have had a couple of "deep" conversations. But like she said, she would have to be friends before going out with a guy. WTF should i do? go at it in a friend type approach, just smooth and whatever happens happens? or do i go at it very aggresively and kind of push a relationship on her? come on DJs, give me some advice!

BTW, i read most of the topics that could concern this problem, so if i missed the article please just give me the link, i dont need a huge rant or flaming. thanks!:D

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

if she wants to come over to your house or you to hers, I'd say she's interested. Don't believe her bull****, and take it aggressively. Start slow, but as the night goes on, move in closer and closer.

Also, would you invite someone you didn't like at your place ? ;)

I agree. Do something that makes you sit close and start playing with her hands or something. flirt a bit, then move on to playing with her hair.

Making out will commence in minutes, unless shes not into you.

If she tells you "I cant, we have to be friends."
"Huh - we are friends - What are you talking about? We've been friends for more than a year"

If she tells you this again - " she can only get into relationships if she has been good friends with the guy for a while" Then just tell her:
"Oh cool, good thing for us that we've been friends for over a year!"

Just flirt - attraction will come. If a girl likes you, thats all there is too and, shes yours.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I'm in a similar situation. The I like's boyfriend is going to move soon, and I'm already friends with her. I don't think she's the kind of girl to just make out with someone though. How should I deal with this? I think most girls would, but this one is kind of, well, different. She's sort of religious and stuff. Should I like kiss her hand or something? I really don't know what to do. If it doesn't work, the whole school will know.

Joe, you should go for it. I was in your situation a year ago and I regret not having gone for it.
