Quick question here, will probably sort its self out soon just wondering what's up...

So today at school, some girl I had one-itis for a little while ago (it went away but still), starts chatting to me in class, trying to hold conversation, leaning in, staring me in the eye, acting really nice on purpose... Yer all was going fine... But I was trying to bust on here a bit about something, and I notice how close she gets to all of her girl friends... So I sort of pick up on that "Woah how close do you wanna get," ya know nothing big just light-hearted... And I'm not too sure how she took it... It was like, half as though she knew I was joking and half as though she took offense from it. She was like "What? Oh my god I don't like him any more." I was like, woah is she serious, and then she put on some voice like "disgusting," in a joky voice though. God knows what she thought of that, lol maybe in future I should find other things to bust on her about, or what?

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Don't worry about it too much...I mean, I guess I would avoid something that pisses her off, but it doesn't sound like she was terribly upset...else she wouldn't have sounded joky (not sure that's a word, but it's the closest to an adverb form of joking I can get).

But, and I can't stress this enough, don't stress out about it.

Okay cool mate, thanks Ed, it's just the concept of "I don't like him anymore." That made my ears p**** up.
