HELP! need to achieve top shape in 6 months!!

If I'm lucky, I go to military (all Finnish guys have to) next April.
I was planning to go in some special forces and I need to get in top physical fitness until then.

I admit I'm not in the best shape right now.
So I'm asking here some of your best ideas to achieve really good shape in such little time.
By the way, I don't need cutting.

I'm also buliking at the same time.
How well I could keep bulking up with this?

I need some insight about this.
So please reply.

You can achieve top shape in 4-5 months NO prob :) just start hitting the gym hardcore 3-5 times a week 45mins to 1 1/2 hours... shoulders/back/triceps chest/biceps, theres many things you can do :)

not sure what the finnish army is like but the military in this country is pretty much ass endurance exercises. mostly a lot of running and calisthenics. I lift on the side 4 days a week to add size and cause the PT doesn't give me a good enough workout.

as far as Special Forces I know a little about the Special Forces in this country. Theres a 3 week selection course out at Fort Bragg, NC which is designed to weed out the fakers and people who are mentally weak. some of the shyt you will do in Special Forces training is insane like Ruck marching 40 miles into the woods using only a compus to find your MRE for the day. they also have mind games like you get 4 soldiers in deep sand and they have to push a HUM-V 1 mile. The catch is the HUMMER only has 3 wheels LOL. Shyt like that is crazy. I have a buddy out here who will most likely be going next year somtime. after selection the actually TRAINING runs about 2-4 years. If its anything like U.S. Army RANGER school you can expect to drop 30-50 pounds(ranger school is 57 days).

GET USED TO WALKING with WEIGHT on your back cause you will be doing a lot of ruck marches.

Stick to calisthenics such as Push-ups, Pull-ups, Sit-ups, Flutter Kicks, LONG runs(4-8 miles), swimming, rope climbing, mountain climbers, dips, and anything else u can find.

I dunno if they have it in finland but im sure you could order it from amazon.com , its a book entitled "The Complete Guide to Navy SEALs Fitness", that book will prepare you for ANY military training(at least physically)
