"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I am really confused here about my ex's thinking. We dated for 3 months, 8 months ago she cheated on me once by making out with some guy. I dumped her immediately, deleted her from facebook, and completely went no contact. A few weeks ago my friend told me that she has became a complete slut during the 8 months of no contact. All of my feelings for her disappeared. A few days ago, my friends tried to get us to "talk" by inviting both of us to dinner without me knowing that she would come, she ignored me completely and I ignored her. But the whole time she was talking about how many guys hit on her etc... And whenever I run into her at a dining hall, office, or class room she quickly looks away or runs away. It is just awkward, why is she doing this? It just gets awkward when I am in a social situation. What should I do?

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

1 - you dated her for 3 months. Who cares. I've had bouts of constipation longer than your "relationship"

2 - even if you dated her for longer than 3 months, who cares? She's an ex for a reason.

I'm not saying this to be rude. Don't waste time wondering about people who don't matter. If I spent time worrying about every crazy chick I dated for 2 or 3 months, I'd have jumped off a bridge by now. Leave her in your past.

This is good advice. I second it.

If you want revenge, find a hotter girl.

then "be seen" with her by your ex. that will set her off.

either way, you need to not care about her in any way.

Is this the same girl that left you for another guy who then in turn left her? What happened to NC?

It's simple woman scorned behaviour:

1. You dumped her and that crushed her narcissistic ways (regardless of the fact she was unfaithful, how dare you).

2. She's ignoring you / boasting about her slutty ways in revenge for that.

She'd your ex, and it wasn't even a long relationship. Three months is fvck all, it's not even long enough for a getting to know period for most people, so you are dressing up way too much. She sounds like an uber b1tch so I've no idea why you are bothered about it at all.

Man up, IGNORE and FORGET, move on.

Sounds like she's immature, crazy, egotistical, conceited, self-absorbed, stubborn etc. She wants the upper hand, and the last word. Trying to get to you... And its working. Sounds like all of my exes, from the past before the past. This is how dumb sluts act. They like attention, messing with people's minds... its all bad, and a result of their craziness, which is a result of insecurity and low self-esteem.

She's a grade A loser. Never obsess over, or analyze losers.

She probably never had a MAN just leave her and move on. Now she just wants to make you jealous or whatever...

What I dont get is why your friends are trying to get the two of you back together. One of your friends just told you she turned to a total slvt and now they wanna try to get you back together??

Either way it sounds like your over her. Tell your friends you say No to Ho's!

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

This girl is trash. She's not worth your time to try to figure out. Where do the socks go when you put them in the dryer? That is a mystery worthy of Sherlock Holmes. But why is a crazy girl acting crazy? The answer is in the question.

@AAAgent yes it is the same girl. The guy who left her ended hooking back up with her... She hooked up with a couple of guys in between. The funny thing is the guy who left her is screwing 3 other girls at the same time. It is weird I never pegged her to be as slutty, but it makes my life easier b/c now I know to avoid slutty 7s.

Dude all women have the potential to turn into massive sluts, its usually the more innocent ones from what I've seen.

Look, a person can make a dumb move and have a moment of infidelity, okay i can roll with that it happens, but this girl has gone from normal person to slut within the eight months you guys have been broken up. Stay away.

And its been eight months man dont even waste energy thinking about her she isn't worth it.

You want to understand your ex? I don't even need to read your post or the answers to it. She is your EX. Stay away. I don't care if you broke up with her, or she broke up with you. Somewhere along the road someone decided you weren't a good fit. There are thousands of better women out there for you, so go find all of them and bang them.

Bullethead - This girl left you close to 6 months ago. She not only left you, she branch swung over to another guy and then fvcked a great deal more. The whole point of No contact is to stay away from her, including her friends.

If the friend was your friend first, she shouldn't be setting you up like this to meet with an ex unexpectedly and if she wasn't your friend first, you should even be hanging out with her. The more you distance yourself for this person that still seems to have you wrapped around her finger, the easier it will for you to recover.

There's a reason she's in the past, and that's because she wasn't good enough to make it to your present and future.

Keep busy with working on you. Making yourself more valueable than you were yesterday. Get stronger and physically more fit, work on hobbies or a business, work on getting more credentials/skills that can advance your career and before you know it, you'll realize that your life is more fulfilling than it was and that having someone like that really adds no value to your life.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
