“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Hey guys,

I knowingly joined a religious club. Specifically one about buddhists. I'm not interested at all, but it seems that they keep on bugging me to come to their events. How the hell do I quit? I keep making excuses and say i'm not interested but they keep pushing and pushing. I wanna ***** slap one in the face.

Anyways, any tactics on how to make them leave me alone??!!?

Better yet, tell them you're an atheist. :D

I once came across a bonafide cult and the way I was able to get out was by simply not being a big enough believer. They sensed I was half-hearted, and I guess I ultimately was. Keep on telling them you have plans and if you do make plans then break them. Nobody likes a flake.

You're probably sending them mixed signals.

Just tell them firmly that you're not interested, and to please stop calling you. Don't go into any details when they start grinding you. Stick to the script.

Say you are gonna do something really cool for them like make a huge donation, and just flake out. If they ask you again about it, just tell them it's on the way.

man you idiot. The club is actually a christian club. I just put buddhist to see what dumb advice you'd give.

Anyways, I'm back to update yall on how I dealt with this sh1t.

Alright so I told them I didn't believe and basically they could never convince me to believe in something that doesn't make sense. So they left me alone...

...for about 2 days and came back like "r u sure u dont wanna join us?" and I just said "answer this question with a logic answer, not sum bullsh1t like 'there is a reason.'"

so the chick recruiter was like "ok." and I said, "why do kids get cancer?"

and she started talking abut I just slammed the door in her face.

it has been 1 week and they have not contacted me since.

Sadly, it's very difficult to be polite to religious door knockers because they keep bugging you if you aren't very firm with your NO. They'll try to interrupt you and start their spiel, hoping you won't interrupt.

I just say "Religious solicitors are NOT welcome here. Please don't bother me again. Have a nice day." Then you shut the door in their face. Rude, yes, but very effective.

I smell bogus. You originally posted your question in September and now, seven months later, it has been only one week since their last conversion attempt, which was two days after you told them off? You lambast someone as an "idiot" for posting something Christian when you had mislead them to think you were dealing with Buddhists?

No, you're an idiot. Buddhists by nature don't try to "recruit" people, they only take in those who seek THEM out. I knew something was up as soon as you said something. It'd help if you didn't mislead people when you're soliciting them for advice.

Your first mistake was showing any interest. Now they've made it their evangelical mission to leverage that "ray of hope" to convert you to their cause.

And now that you've called everyone "idiot" who was trying to help you because YOU were being an assclown, I hope they're up your ass for the rest of your life. Have a nice day.

The hell are you talking about squirrel? Hindsight is 20/20 I don't give a **** if you say you knew anything. YOU DIDN'T. Yes, no sh1t my first mistake is showing interest. kinda like showing interest in a fat chick :cuss: . now the ray of hope, yes that is a problem.

oh wait, it WAS a problem because I solved it thanks to you guys. Also I stand by my word that christian guy, bbstar I think he was, is a dumbass. Notice he does not come to defend christianity and answer my question about kids w/cancer.

Finally, yes, my bad for lying when asking for advice. I apologize for that. I have to make sure not to do it again...uh oh maybe I already did..dammit :( :p

Potbelly, i want to say that I'm sorry for anything that caused you to have some feelings against me, and I ask you to forgive me, and again I'm sorry.

And also I'm sorry and I take full responsibility for anything and anyone through out your life that caused you to have bitterness to the Bible and the Lord Christ Jesus of the Bible.

I hope that we can make amends, and that the process of healing will begin in your life as well as mine and for everyone here in this thread.

Apology accepted kind sir. People like you are slowly but surely changing this (my) bitter man's views toward organized religion in general (not just Jesus/God).

I am a bitter person yes. I just do not like the idea of having a God watch over me and criticizing my actions. I especially do not like the attitude of recruiters who tell me God is so far above me and them that we are just scum and must beg for mercy. I was like "hell no." Anyways, I will remember that some people are mislead, while others are kind and just. I should not generalize like I did so readily against you in this thread and I apologize as well for being a pen1s.

Screw god... but I'd still be interested in knowing at least what is this organization's specific religious affiliations. Surely, probably, they are a branch of a larger organization.

The time I ran into a cult it was the "International Church of Christ" and the first warning sign was their insistence on attending their events, like it was some sin if I couldn't or didn't want to go. Innocent hanging out at people's houses, or so I thought, were actually planned intensive "bible studies." They had the ideology of you're either in or out; either you believe their specific beliefs and interpretations or you were going to hell. (They believed people should live just like back in biblical times.) I still remember someone advising me that many people within that church who were full-fledged members were still going to hell. I got out relatively quick and unscathed, but even when I got out, whenever I ran into a member there was heavy-handed pressure by them to reconsider.

So, out of curiosity, who were these people?
