"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

First, a self assessment so you can fully understand this.

I grew up very over-protected and I only recently realized women, the world, etc. Physically, I have a handsome face, though I do have glasses and only an average body due to a lack of exercise. Mentally, I rule. My grades rock and I run the comedy club at my school. Socially, I have a massive group of friends and a very varying group of really close friends. Hence, I really have no other problems but with women/dating.

11th grade seemed like one big curse to me. Over the course of that year, I got rejected by the coolest girl in school four times (though I only asked her to prom once), the smartest girl in school, and some Freshman girl with an amazing personality and bod. It seemed like a massive stream of rejection and I have yet to find out why.

This year (senior year) is the first time I ever took a girl to a dance. It was really easy b/c I just asked one of my really good friends who had a very small social circle. I had an awesome time, but she really didn't like dances (she told me after we had gotten there lol) or dancing. After convincing her for at least one slow dance, I thought the night turned out really great as I had an excellent time. Unfortunately, she outrightly said that she didn't two days later.

One thing I notice that has gotten in my way a lot is that almost everyone I meet instantly considers me their friend, and women tend not to take me seriously due to my comical nature. It rocks because I have no enemies whatsoever. The downside is that this includes women too. Whenever I try to flirt, I always get reminded that I stand in the friend zone and nowhere else.

I sought out this site because I feel that I'm miss something. There is a fire out there and I want to mess with it no matter how many times it burns my fingers. Hence, I am seeking the help of true Don Juans, such as yourselves. Does anyone have any advice on how I could end this losing streak?

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

1. Go to gym

2. Eat healthy

3. Get contact lenses

4. Get some style/new clothes

5. Get good at a hobby

You obviously have the personality. You need the looks/confidence/experience now. Give yourself 3 months "out of it". Just focus on the list for 3 months, and then jump back in. You'll go from having an average body to having a hot body, you'll go from having a handsome face to a hot face, and you'll go from averagely dressed guy to "guy-who-has-his-sh1t-together-guy", and you'll go from funny guy with no life to funny cool guy.

I'm not asking you to trust me, I'm telling you thats how I did it.

Aight. Great info. Though contact lenses really don't allure me. They have lead my friends into many painful eye infections and many dangerous driving situations. They do take focus off my eyes, which kinda annoys me because of their importance in psychology, but I still don't think their advantages outweigh the negs.

I do need more people to rant at me about working out. I sit around watching funny videos and playing online games way too much. Must stop loafing. TIs really hard to learn how to get up and get active. I'm at step 0 here. Any suggestions on good starting exercises? I'll check out the fitness forum later.

Style/clothes don't matter as much as I like due to the mandatory uniform policy at my school. My wardrobe is probably 100% preppy methinks, all Fox and Billabong. Suggestions here would be helpful too.

Currently, my only really useful hobby is acting and that really doesn't seem to be helping me get fit. If I find someway to integrate hobby and fitness I'm set, it looks like. Thanks so far though. I just read the bible entry on the importance of focusing on yourself and not only women. Crazy good stuff by Pook, who must have major skillz.

(edited for Addman, lol) Thanks, whatever you wish to be called. Great ideas. Anything else?

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Yes. Dont call us "homies" :trouble:

lol

spend some time looking though Health and Fitness forums. particularly ones done by Warboss Alex.

as for social skills and such, DJ boot camp would be a good place to start.

your background in acting could be useful. Use it to develop charm and charisma

You want advice so start taking it. Get the contact lenses. Try them for a month and see if it changes the way women look at you. Youll know within days. Then if after a month it didnt make enough of a difference, switch back.

Work your ass off in the gym at the VERY MINIMUM 3 days a week. In 6 months you will be in amazing shape compared to your peers and that is all that matters at your age. You need the edge and that is the edge woman go crazy over. Youll have to try MUCH less once you look great. Remember, you are the prize, but only as good of a prize as you make yourself to be.

If the contact lenses don't work you can get some designer glasses (like current popular ones hopefully sporting a logo) It will boost your social proof.

You know, some people would look better with classy glasses I'd imagine...but contact lenses are definitely worth a try, especially if you're a guy that always wears glasses. People should notice/comment and stuff.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Just remember, dont get too arrogant that you forget to be funny. ****y and funny are meant to be mixed. Dont hurt peoples feelings with your arrogance unless youve studied how to do so in a way that keeps them intersted (called a Neg )
