I can always get a response out of the woman on these sites. It's just the follow-up and close where I begin to have frame problems, having to figure out a way to flip it around. If you guys could serve me as a sort of "Brain trust" to help me flip it, I'd appreciate it, and I'll report back with my successes, if any. I know that once I get her in person, she's mine.

I would've gone with something a little more C&F, saying that you just had plastic surgery done on your face to look more like John Elway and you are waiting for your face to heal before to put up some snapshots.

Haha, well, I've found that I get better responses if I stealthly jab at her, making her wanta know who's behind the message. I think that that's how Most girls online want it too, except for the superficial who only allow you to contact them unless you have pictures. I'm on another dating site WITH pics and have made friends there as well, but I seem to be attracting the lip, tongue, eye, pierced goth chicks there I don't know why. I'm pretty cut and not at all nappy skater-like. Maybe they just see the bada55 is there, and it is. I can't deny it, but it's due to job dealing with hot chicks every day. My job Forces me to be in the midst of women; therefore, I'm comfortable around them, and it shows in my photos I guess.

Your trying to hard here man. Just post your pic in the profile, if she reponds to your message reply back asking for her aim, no need to have some long exchange going on. Once on aim, game her up, get the number, call, meet done deal. Getting POF lays are pretty easy if the chick is interested, which she will be if shes talking to you cause trust me they get more responses than you'll believe and don't have to be talking to you if they don't want to. As corny and lame as the line sounded if she was interested it wouldn't even matter. From what i've found from experimenting with POF what u say isn't really a big deal unless its really crazy off the wall psycho sh*t. If the girl likes what she sees its a done deal. I've made all sorts of different profiles with different pics of different guys. I've gotten guys off the top 10 on look sites, made a profile and just message girls with only things like this written in the text box "hi" , "asdf" "hehe" "." and they respond back eager and interested. So online, get a good pic, some muscles, watch the chicks flow in.
