HELP! I LIE too much to girls..and now it is biting me in the ass!

Hello guys,

I have a problem that when I meet new girls in bars, clubs, and out and about.....I often tell BS stories about myself.

I pick whatever career pops in my head, I say I have traveled to countries I have never been to, and make myself seem so much better than I actually am.

For example, I met this girl in a bar when I was blind drunk and high at the same time and told her I was a professional photographer. Probably because I never expected to see her again and was looking for a one-night hook up. She got all wet for it, and I have now been seeing her for a month and she still thinks I am professional photographer.

The fact of the matter is that I am not....rather I make websites for a living in my sh!tty apartment. Not quite as glamorous. Now I am starting to sweat because I actually like the girl and see a relationship developing.

Any advice brahs?

You have absolutely NO self respect / love. The reason you make up these things is because you think it will make you appear better in her eyes .
I had a similar phase but not as extreme , I lied about what I'm doing to make it seem fun.
For example
Her: what are you doing tomorrow night
Me : Just clubbing with the boys or ball game.
Funny thing is I found it translating to my daily life as well , I lied to my friends and parents over stupid things. This habit can be killed but it takes hard work : no half aze work.

I got to a point and I just figured to be content with who I am , it's better for a 7 rated girl to find you attractive for being a website maker than a 10 rated chick to buy into a façade only to dumb you at the end and make you feel horrible.

I suggest , learning to love yourself before chasing women. And this process is continuous not just a 5 month project. Love yourself throughout your life. From today on , just be straight forward with every girl/ person you meet , you are a website designer ...you don't realize it's actually more exciting than some other jobs. You live by yourself ...you don't realize the value that has.

Lies are for pump and dump otherwise one lie leads to another and trust the end will be biggest heartbreak of your life.It is emotional suicide, be careful as you think you are cool but you play with fire.

Two things.

1.) Don't lie to girls with which you want to have a relationship. Lie to girls you are banging and bouncing or pumping and dumping. They love the fantasy anyway and would appreciate the gesture in the long run.

2.) Become the person about which you are lying. If you have certain lies that are your go-to lies I say start to pursue them until they are truths. Obviously some part of you wants them to be true which is a good indicator of those careers/hobbies being a good path to take.

Dude, I fvcked my uncles wife not so long ago, and after fvcking her for same exact time, a month, I saw a relationship developing, never mind her two kids. I think you gotta avoid such a long relationships and focus on mixing and matching with other people. It's called getting used to, you get used to people after you see them for a while.

Just own the lie dont make a big deal of it, "ohh yea woops I was drunk haha" then move on. If you make a big thing out of it you'll look like a weasel whos scared of how she'll react. You arent.

Alternatively, continue the lie and see how far it goes.
