"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Bah im 6'5

It's not a big deal.

The most it does is have someone go wow I didn't realize how tall you were!

How Tall are you?
It doesn't seem like a big deal to you because you're probably a little bit too tall. Ever heard the expression; too much of a good thing?

Probably optimal height for maximum attraction is probably 6'1-6'2ish. Probably every inch taller is like being an inch shorter in terms of effectiveness (meaning 6'0 = 6'3, 5'11 = 6'4, etc.). No, its no big deal one way or the other being average height of 5'10", or ...... 6'5" (using my estimated formula).

My best friend in grad school was 6'9"! (former college varsity center). He had a hell of a hard time attracting women!

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

height matters a lot...but its more of a cut off, an inch doesn't add or subtract a point to your desirability, IMO

In other words, if a guy is sig. shorter than the girl, doesn't matter, it's not happening, regardless of other variables.

The way I see it, it's like under 5'6=no chance, no matter what except for extreme exceptions
5'6-5'8=questionable at best, but does happen and I've seen it plenty of times, but still very hard
Over 5'8, under 5'11=disadvantage, but easily compensated for

over 5'11=who cares your set w/game
er, not really. Have you not noticed how common it is to see people claim the guys they know who are the best with women are usually in the shorter range? It's because that's often true. Subtract at least two inches from those heights, and maybe you'll have something somewhat accurate. Even then, confident 5'4 guys with great game will surprise you.

I just realized that I already posted on this thread long ago, so I have to edit my response. My persepctive on the importance of height seems to change with every new experience. Anyways:

I once was in a conversation where a 5'3'' girl said that she only went for guys who were at least 6 feet tall. As a 5'10'' guy, I wasn't offended because I had no interest in her.

Weeks pass by, and the next thing you know, she's
studying everywhere I'm studying, asking me to walk her to her car, and trying to probe into my dating life.

Moral of the Story: Women don't crave a tall guy; they crave a guy who is hard to get.

LM, haha, I'm exactly that.

I think this is a good subject for the H&F forum, stay tuned

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Well, I'm around ~5'8" but I look better than 98% of guys around me because I dress sharp, am well-groomed and have an impressive build. I can dominate a 6'2" guy in a room. Often a girl will approach me first in a social setting, even if I am standing next to a 6'2" guy, even moreso if it is a lanky 6'6" guy. Because I look more competent/confident. It happened tonight. I'd be the first to admit that most taller guys would have the edge if they actually tried. Some of them do... but most of them don't. Most of them don't stand out unfortunately. They dress sloppy, are extremely thin or overweight, their hair is a mess, have bad posture, etc. Us short guys try harder, and it works into all aspects of our lives. But here we are talking looks only.

Being tall is attractive to most women, people.

You can be ugly as hell but if you're tall or a decent size with muscles you'll get a healthy amount of women coming after you cuz that's what they find sexy(on top of facial features but like I said most women will put this aside unless you look like shrek).
I agree with the first part. I'm 6'3 and have been working out for a couple of years and it definitely helps.

However, I'd probably prefer being 5'8 or 5'9 and good looking in general instead of being 6'3 muscular but not very attractive other than height/muscle.

Maybe it's a bit of a different ball game here in Germany, but to me it seems as if yeah it's a great advantage, but most girls prefer a handsome guy who's just a bit taller than them to a 6'3 guy with muscles whose face doesn't look good.

I think its a bit as if chicks were talking about "Do you think tits matter? Can I get laid without having big tits?". Some girls would go "I have big tits and obviously all men are complete suckers for my titties!". Then another chick would say "well I have A-cups but I'm still getting tons of ****, so dont believe what the other chick just said". And it could very well be true because even if we all love tits, I'm sure many of us would prefer to get with a really pretty chick who doesn't have nice tits, but a great ass and a pretty face instead of getting with an average looking chick, with great tits.

Body build is more important than height.

The one thing I do notice regarding height is that most of the tall (5'11"+) women I see are with tall guys.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

we do have inferiority complexes about our boobs. you put two chicks in the room that who already act about the same. which ever one has the bigger boobs will end up controlling the conversation / friendship until the other one learns to just say eff it and grows up about it.

That's a good note you took, I assume. I have a female friend who's 6 foot and she would feel bad how she can't seem to meet a guy who's taller than her. Women usually want a guy who's at least a tad bit taller than them and for a 5'11 chick, that means the guy has to be over 6' obviously.

@penkitten: are you serious?

A Tall Guy is like a Girl with Big Boobs and Booty.

A guy may say he likes a girl with T & A and that may very well be the case but that same guy may later run into a chick with an A-cup and flat ass and still want her badly.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

realnezz must be compensating for something he's really insecure about, because he sure seems obsessed with other guys' heights.

The guy is insecure as fvck, just ignore him.

Is height a disadvantage? yes and no

realnezzes posts bleed insecurity. The guy must have some serious issues. you can tell he has alot of hatred inside. ignore him and let him keep feeding off the miseries and shortcomings of others if that will make him feel superior.

its not healthy to have people like that around you.

I had to get on this train. I am 5'6" and most of my shoes add an inch ot two to my height. Now I do not really like being this short, but I have no problems with taller women. Dated one that was 5'11" and many around 5'8-9" and it does not bother me in the least to be seen with them. I guess it all boils down to confidence. Of course dating shorter women has not been an issue either. I have even dated ones that said on their profile you must be at least 5"10" which would knock me out of the running, but other things attrracted them. All about how you carry yourself!
