"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

You give them choices?!

Why give them so much power so early? what has she done to deserve this power sharing?!

The thing about women, you start giving them choices very early on and they turn to Mussolini (and by that I don't mean a fat bald Italian man) by getting used to the power and thrive for more.
Some guys take all this too literally. I gave her the choices of three movies that I wanted to see, so for me it was a no lose proposition. I -always- pick things that I want to do early on in the date process. Personally, I don't think letting a woman choose a movie is giving away any power, and it gives me a chance to learn something about her choices in a non-threatening way.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Well, she did tell the truth but that is not what you wanted to hear coming from a woman who you have romantic interest on this day. She has dragged herself in the mud for the last few decades - she ain't smelling too good! Find yourself a nice virgin fresh rose whose head hasn't been damaged and whose body hasn't been dragged threw the mud!!
Rather presumptuous on your part...did it ever occur to you that I might prefer a woman who isn't one to throw their emotions on my carpet? Or that I am happy as a pig in sh1t to NOT have to go play romantic cupid to any woman on this day, and it serves my purposes just fine to keep all my plates spinning without any help from me today, where I get to go play tennis, do yoga, read and work on self-improvement.

And her body still looks pretty fine to me.

Lol, I agree. i can hear them screeching now, "NOOOO, how COULD you let her pick the movie!" "Now she has ALL the power!"

Get a grip. Isn't this the 25+ forum!?

One thing to keep in mind about personality disordered women thirdtimes is that at the beginning of a relationship they will often confide something deeply personal real or imagined to their target in an effort to make you feel closer to them.

Another thing to keep in mind is that they can come across as tomboys in the sense they convey or outright tell you they get along better with men than women.
If her goal was to make me feel closer, the only way that is going to happen is when I take her pants off. :cheer:

As far as her being a tomboy, I don't that my perception of her at this point would label her specifically as "personality disordered" and I'm still not sold on labeling someone from one particular comment.

4 weeks...4 dates...

What about in between? Did you too keep contact with each other? I mean...emails, phone calls, IMs, Texting? If so...how frequently?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

How old is she? Is she divorced (how many times)? Does she have children (how many)?

Ok, so she's half cold, heartless b1tch.

That leaves me another half I can work with.

A couple of phone calls here and there, and various texts. Today's texts, for example, are starting to take on a much more sexual nature. This, I believe, is good news.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Four meetings and no sex...it is kind of long, IMO.
No argument there, but I've got that covered from another source and I'm content to let things develop since this woman interests me.

I believe that when a woman refers about herself as "a horney slu_t" or "co_ck loving ho" or as a "heartless biatch"...that's a HUGE red flag. Especially very early in the dating stages.

So "cold heartless b1tch" texts me this morning "Happy Hallmark holiday day" which certainly cements her as someone who is not the sentimental type
"Certainly cements." Pfft!

Valentine's day is fvcking stupid. I am a sentimental type. But i choose the sentiments, not what everyone else tells me.

These are the types of conclusions women form about me, but are dead wrong because they try to play amateur psychologist.

Yep, this one of their favorite tactics. Women PDs always play the Victim role in their 'stories' to draw out the Capt-Save-a Ho in you. If you play, she will then play harder with endless stories of how someone "done her wrong".
Boo hoo !

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

As do I. There is truth in jest.

Also, 4 dates with no sexual contact is a bit long, IMO. But i dont know the situation so ill give you the benefit of the doubt.

I agree with LMS and Joker in what they're saying that this girl is a bit ****ed up. If she was a ***** then chances are she wouldn't tell you, I think it's much more likely that it was a test looking to push you away.

She probably wants to see herself as a ***** to protect herself from getting hurt and she's giving you a warning in advance to allow herself to act this way in future.

However underneath there is probably someone very fragile and looking to be protected.

I understand why alot of people here would next someone like that but sometimes these relationships are what makes life worth living, it's a challlenge and the reward can be great too - just don't get in deep unless she does open up and even then always be on the lookout as she will periodically drop back to past behaviour.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
