"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I think he was talking out his ass. He opened up his mouth words came out and he ran with it. Thinking about it less than when he actually said it the next day. The mystery he spun on it is proof... "think about somthing creative and ask me... I will say yes or no..."

HOW the hell are you going to ever get it right if it is CREATIVE!!!

Those words were pure air with a hint the last thing he ate, and nothing more!

Sorry but hey... Happy Birthday!
Yeah I think you're right. Check out the email I received yesterday.

How was it on the 26th? how does 25 feel?

So he remembered that I had my b-day on tuesday and still chose not to tell me happy b-day. I think that is messed up.

Well, I know his b-day is next thursday and I may do the very same thing. But really it's ridiculous.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

A thoughtful and considerate boyfriend shouldn't have to ask. They'd know exactly what to get, just by going out with their other half and seeing what they like, what clothes they like, jewelry, games, whatever. When you get to know someone, you'll know what they like if you make the effort to do your research.

Whenever I see something I think my sweetheart'd like, I buy it then and there. Sure it gets expensive, but it's really appreciated. :)

I've bought her anything from toys (age range was 4-6 but they were cute) to graphics tablets.. plus clothes, jewelry, music, a ton of chocolate, anything really.

*is in a sappy mood*
