Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

I made a thread a while ago about going out alone. I've found a likely alternative with a group of "buddies" (a group of mostly acquantices). One is a handsome guy from what I can tell and is pretty cool, though some of the other guys in the group are rather...lame, for lack of a better word. Call me shallow or whatever...I am. But, I do think most of you would be aware of what I'm talking about though.

Anyways, what could I do to offset any negative image that might come from this in regard to girls, or is it just an overall not-good-idea to ahve unattractive people with you?

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I don't know.. sometimes it can work in your favor.. like if you are the most attractive of the group.. obviously all the attention will be on you. Then again, if you have good looking friends.. it does show social proof. I'm by no means ugly.. I'm pretty attractive.. but out of my group of guy friends, I am one of the weaker links, because I hang out with a lot of attractive dudes with good game (not trying to sound gay here.. but it's true) so it does become a pain in the ass.. I usually end up getting the sloppy seconds, but then again.. sometimes I pull some amazing chicks that they can't so.. Idk. I say if you're hanging out with someone.. and it prevents you from being youself.. i dont think you should hang out with them but its up to you man

If you're confident enough to go out alone, that can work very well for you. When I had moved to a new town and didn't know anyone I felt like going out and doing karaoke so I just went by myself. There are always people sitting at the bar and if you're someone who isn't shy and can easily make conversation going out by yourself is a good way to meet the most people in a new place. If you go in a group you tend to stick with your group more. If you go alone you are more apt to branch out and meet new people. I guess you have to have the right kind of personality and be pretty extroverted to make going out alone work well for you, though.

Wyldfire, common social dynamics dictate that females can go out alone and easily find company for the night. It's a much different dynamic for males.

Now that being said, with some good observation skills and the will to meet people, a man can find company too.

Last year when I got into the whole "sarging" thing I was amazed how I could go out alone and find other guys to wing with. Just through simple observation and basic social skills.

Now to the OP: I think it might have been Style who talked about going out with people of better or worse looks.

There were two contrasting outcomes.

If you are better looking than your group, then your value may be lowered as you are perceived as part of an ugly group.

If you're group is better looking than you, then this may contrast your "unpleasantness." You will be percieved wosre than you are because of the contrast in you and the good lookig people.

I think both can apply. I've noticed who a girl goes out with can affect my opinion of her looks.

You ever been attracted to a girl and then see her with her friends and all of the sudden she just looks plain compared to them?

Or a hot girl who is GENUINE friends with an ugly group? It kind of makes you think WTF.

Ideally you should go out with average people and be a LITTLE better looking or stylish. BUT, I wouldn't sweat it either way.

I think the only thing you should really worry about is socially inept people. Cause regardless of what a girl thinks of you, you can't game her if you have somebody who doesn't know how to act in a given situation, killing your game.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

There are downsides to going out and sarging with ugly friends.
T
1. All of them would want you the same level as them. I think theres a chance they might end up **** blocking you. They might say somethiNg STUPID and ruin your game which they usually do. ( i currently have a friend like this)

2. They will get jealous of you which will end up as your last night hanging out with them.

3. You will end up by yourself again or try finding guys with the same game as you.

Just my opinion from my experience. I was in a group of 3. 1 attractive and 2 fat ones (i was one of them). At least that's how I felt from my point of view. Guess what happened, we rebelled against the good looking guy who was too ****y we thought.

So, I would never sarge with ugly fat dudes with low self esteem.

I would just keep these ugly cool friends of yours on the side and hang out with them when theres nothing to do... Never take them out when sarging or with your women friends.

If they dont try to block you, i see no problem, but 90% of the AFCs use 90% of their brain only to pull down others into their own misery.
