"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

It's a huge problem for me. It happen with Weight training, school work, ex girl friends, and becoming a DJ. I have a hard time staying dedicated to something. I somehow lose the fire to do it kinda like it runs out. Like i get bored of it so i stop, even though i really wanna keep going, and become a DJ i stop. So instead of reading and practicing becoming a DJ i do other things that are distractions/responsiblitys. For example, go on the comp like i am now. I'd go on for Home work and end up chatting emailing downloading and playing games. I lack self control, and the ability to stick with something. Please Help

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Discipline is one of the things you need to learn to become a man. Whenever you catch yourself slacking off, go back to working towards what you KNOW you want. Hard work now pays off more then laziness now, and you know it.

I do understand where you're coming from though- so here's some inspirational quotes you should remember whenever you find yourself slipping and not meeting your goals.

“My upbringing contributed a lot to my success. My father was a police officer and wanted his family to be the perfect example to the town. We couldn’t do anything bad. He was very strict, checking out everything…….if we were clean, if our shoes were brushed. I was brought up under great discipline, which meant that when I made up my mind I had to follow it through. I had a master plan from the moment I arrived in America. That’s still in me. Every year I set a goal: to win the Mr. Olympia or to get so many units in business school, to make a certain amount of money, to travel to five or six different countries. Every year I make a plan. I do it. It will be done.”
The only way to be a champion is by going through these forced reps and the torture and pain. That’s why I call it the torture routine. Because it’s like forced torture. Torturing my body. What helps me is to think of this pain as pleasure. Pain make me grow. Growing is what I want. Therefore, for me pain is pleasure. And so when I am experiencing pain I’m in heaven. It’s great. People suggest this is masochistic. But they’re wrong. I like pain for a particular reason. I don’t like needle’s stuck in my arm. But I do like the pain that is necessary to be a champion.

Hmm...it must not be important enough for you to have a fun life full of beautiful women and great adventures. Too bad. :(

If you REALLY wanted a better life, it would be easier to stop doing the things that draw you away from it and start doing the things that draw you toward it.

There's no piece of advice here that can "make you want a better lifestyle". That's something you have to decide for yourself. People here can lead you to water. If you don't drink, that's YOUR problem.
