The greatest failure any man can have is in not defining his goals.
The first level of failure is not having any goals
Many people come on to SS and complain about how they can't get a girl, don't get any sex, look ugly, etc. Great you have defined your situation, now what is it that you want? These people stand puzzled and will shout out crap like "Pvsssy!". Okay if that is really all you want, well there are many girls in the 0 to 3 range who will probably be more than willing to give it up to you. Or you can buy one of those plastic vagina's they sell at porn shops.
Thinking about what you want on such a low level is not really thinking at all. Yeah, you want more sex, but you know that is really not the goal. There is more than just the immediate.
The second level of failure is having too specific a goal
Say what you want is to date Jessica Alba. Okay, well that sounds good, infact it sounds great. But lets really look at that. Is this even a realistic option? Is there way to even meet her? Making Jessica Alba specifically your goal while ambitious is pretty much doomed to failure (unless of course you actually know her). Too specific can also lead to the dreaded ONE Itis, which as we all know is a backwards step. Set goals which while ambtious are somewhat realistic.
The third level of failure is too general a goal
Examples of these are things like " I just want to do better with women" or " I just want to get a girl friend". The problem hear is that the specifics of what "doing better with women" is , never gets decribed. You wont ever really know if you are doing any better without having a few specific benchmarks to meet. At some point or another, you will need to decide what it is you really want.
Setting appropriate goals
All success comes from planning and execution. They both go hand in hand. Your overall goals should then reflect this. The way to set goals should go something like this:
1. Determine what it is you want to accomplish.
Do you want a relationship? Do you want endless amounts of sex? Do you only want to deal with 8,9, & 10's. Do you want someone specifically? What you want is up to you, but here is where the battle won or lost. Think deeply about what it is you really really want. Not just your immediate satisfaction.
2. Take inventory of the situation.
Is this a goal that is dificult? Do you have anything that can help you? What can hurt you? How important is this goal to you? What do you need to accomplish this goal?
3. Develop a plan of action.
Map out a strategy. Determine what will work the best from experience and from outside opinion. Always have a way out if things are not going well.
4. Execute your plan.
Go out and friggin do it.
5. After execution, contemplate on the sucesss/failure
Did it work the way you want? Did it resolve your issues? Did you learn anything new? Are the goals you set for yourself still the ones you want? Are they still realistic? Is this something that you really want to commit your self to?
Repeat the five steps until ultimate satisfaction.
A good plan is general enough to allow for modifications but has enough specific points so that you can quantify your success/failure. Don't feel that you have to have everything all together at once. Few people do. Just start because if you don't start directing your own life, others will do it for you ( like that BBW that is always wanting to sit by you
