Have you ever worked with business partner ?

I am considering finding a business partner that will carry some part of my business on his shoulders , as I dont want to leave my day job and in the same time the remaining of the day is not enough to run any serious business, but I had one time bad experience with business partner that made me think it is always bad to have one .
Any body have positive experience with a business partner ?
