"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Have you ever had a woman leave even if the sex was amazing for you both?

I've had them leave as well. Sex doesn't make the woman stay. Making an emotional imprint will make her stay. Sex can be a contributing factor, but it cannot be the entire basis of making an emotional imprint.
Hey Des, do you have any prior SS post links about how to best make an emotional imprint? I have my thoughts but would like to read what you have to say on it. Especially if it's a new girl, and not someone you got with way back per your High Score Theory.
Thanks.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

I think I read in that thread it's about the emotional roller coaster, full range of emotions. I disagree with this theory, I've taken girls on a wild ride that they just wanted to get off and never look back.

IMO, it's about creating unique emotional experiences, but positive ones. Don't give them lots of turmoil, why even go to such extreme lengths to hook a girl you don't ultimately want to be with?

This is the area of game I don't like, the manipulative selfish side. If she's not "the one" let her fly the fvcking nest and find someone who does want to live happily ever after. Are we tyrants hoarding souls? That's the opposite of what a good man of integrity is. Be happy these girls left, be happy they are free to pursue happiness and not be stuck in a web of your fvcked up ego boosting game.

Why care about a high score of a girl who isn't going to be the mother of your children? Let them all fly guys, you've had your turn now focus on the present.

If your description of the emotional imprint is accurate, then you don't necessarily need to manipulate. Just being a DJ means saying "no" once in a while and not putting up with BS or crap from a/your woman. This alone, them not getting their way 100% of the time, is enough to create the emotional swings Des is talking about. As opposed to the beta male who says yes to everything so he doesn't get dumped.

I'm either mad high or this has no relevance to what I was saying, or even what this thread is about. Not trying to be rude OG but what are you saying? We all know saying No is essential. I'm saying what the point of playing the high score game to collect souls of females you have no business thinking about?

BTW I stupidly popped some molly and I'm rattling around at home and have work in 7.5 hours.

I wrote about it years ago in this post:

It really depends on the woman. Some will only require a ride on the kid's rollercoaster, and some will require a ride 400 feet in the air. In other words, some women have a need for intense drama to feel intense emotional fluctuation while others will need very little. It all depends on how much drama they create for themselves in real life. She will let you know when you're going too far. If you ignore her signals that you're going a bit too far, she will want to get off the ride.

why even go to such extreme lengths to hook a girl you don't ultimately want to be with?
Do it for practice. When you encounter a girl you actually DO want to be with, you'll know how to hook her. It's like when an aspiring DJ needs work on approaching or number closing, he should be doing it for practice with girls he don't necessarily want so he becomes good at it. Practice makes perfect.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
