"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Have only been approached and/or complimented on my looks by HB5's and men

I was just wondering why is it that people who have complimented my looks and/or approached me were only hb5's and men? My male friends complimented my looks casually, HB5's showed their interest to me, some asked to be photographed with me, one even said I was too handsome. I also often get some looks from strangers. And yet I've never been complimented by or received a first move from a hot woman. Is it because I'm not that good looking for them? Or is it just that they're too used to getting complimented and hit on?

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

The only compliment you will get from a hot woman is something like... "I like the way you dance." Or "That is a really nice car your driving."

She is not going to say your handsome... it don't work that way.

Girls generally don't compliment guys on looks in person too often in my experience. Then again I really don't go to many clubs or bars at all really. But I've been able to match some reallllyyy hot chicks off tinder. I get a bunch of hot matches online but am not complimented in person hardly. It's not surprising really.

As million billionaire said, a girl isn't just going to walk up to you and say you're hot. Very, very rarely will they ever do that. It really doesn't work that way. But if she initiates conversation with you, or is smiling a lot around you or always answers your texts quickly and enjoys talking to you, you can assume she's interested.

They don't like to flat out say they're attracted to you because then it puts them beneath you and probably makes them insecure. The pedestal works both ways.

I don't agree. From my personal experience you can get compliments from hot women, I can think of a few examples. I was on a date with this really cute girl and she kinda gave the game away by asking me if I'd ever done any modelling. I've been approached by those Abercrombie scout chicks a few times, which is always an ego boost and I was put forward by a female friend once. I've also had some very forward girls in clubs tell me that I'm hot and I have been approached once or twice. Probably even more blatantly before we got together my ex said that I was really attractive and this girls really hot. It's weird because I don't actually consider myself to be that attractive, I know I'm not bad looking and with the last few girls I've dated long term, I've definitely been the ugly one. I think girls do sometimes say these things because sometimes they have no idea what to say, their game sucks, they have no idea what to do if things get flipped on them. They sit around laughing with each other about texts guys send them, then when they're really into a guy, they're just as bad if not worse.

This is generally more how it is, the vast majority of women will only give compliments to guys who they deem to be better looking than them. I think a great way to work out where you are on the male 1-10 looks rating, if that kinda thing bothers you, is to work out which chicks are openly checking you out and not bombarding you with tons of shït tests when you approach. So if in general you can't easily escalate on most 7's, you're probably a 7 or below. It's not worth getting too worked up over because of the other factors involved but in terms of averages it tends not to lie when it comes to initial attraction.

The good thing for guys is that you can actually get better looking a lot easier than girls. Go to the gym and build muscle at around 10%, get some fashion sense, a good haircut, clear your skin up and some swagger about you and you're pretty much a 7 by default. Anything else like being naturally good looking, having a masculine face structure etc just boosts you up higher. If you're willing to put the effort in you can easily do this, whilst women are pretty much screwed when it comes to how they look unless they want to go under the knife, which is not as accessible compared to the things guys can improve.

A girl will only complement a guy way above her league. You are in the same league so no compliments for you I am afraid.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
