Being as men are seen as leaders and have been cheating for countless years wouldn't it make sense for women to follow in their footsteps?

Men have created all dating apps, meet up, FB etc. Giving women access to more choices in men.

Hollywood men cheat all the time and women love their male stars.

Now if men have been cheating and creating more and more opportunities with dating apps for women to meet the same leaders while they follow, wouldn't it make sense that men have created their own monsters?

Men pursue and women accept their advances. It takes two people to make anything happen. Get used to reality.

So you agree. Men lead, men create, women follow. Men have created their own monsters.
Men create their own opportunities. Many women do also, but keep blaming men if it floats your boat.

Actually several dating sites were created by women.

It's the ease of options given to women through social media that brought their natural attention craving personalities into the spotlight. It's always been there.

I agree that the simplistic process of a wife leaving her husband, most often while cheating on him, and robbing him financially through the court system hasn't helped.

No wonder in some societies the women still get killed for adultery instead of becoming financially independent from it.

Don't play stupid. Who did the men cheat with? A goat? A cow? A pig?

No. It was with women. That means women have been cheating just as much as men. It takes two to cheat.

Men lead, as in creating the communal culture we live in. So yes, we have created the mess, by not leading.

I see the beginning of the feminization of our culture way back with the birth of economics as a science [the capitulation of the masculine will to domesticity].

I have a theory that men blew it back in the 50s when they had all the power, and things set up their own way. Too many men became alcoholics, abusers, and used their position to cheat. They were leaders at the time, but weren't good leaders, which caused resentment and discontent amont their wives. So they lost their position of power.

That may not even be accurate, so feel free to shoot it full of holes, but I think it's a possibility.

I think men turned to the 'feminine side' when they first sought safety, security, power, and comfort. Ego and ideology supplanted eros and adventure.... the will to power, the will to life.

The 50s? More like the 1500s?:D

---------------

The Ruins of the Day

Looking out on the ruins of the day
On the late conflagration of the sky,
When the past and future come to mind,
And a stage, where the present dies.

So fickle the present moment is,
No wonder the desire to keep it still,
Yet the present moment over-rides,
And targets the life of thought it kills.

And good it is to chastise illusions
When with the day sunlit shadows come,
And in the play in which they're emboldened
Seem durable as the golden sun.

Let the shadows sink into the night,
Let the ego dream within its cave;
For there's hemispheres in flux to face,
And an eternity to brave.
