"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Hi People,

I haven't been on here for god knows how long but I need some advice. I'll keep it as short as possible because at the moment thinking about this just does my head in. FYI this is not women problems I think with all the advice here the bible and my own experience I can handle that aspect fine enough.

So here goes,

Why am I so restless, I'm a university graduate I"m working my ass off as a floor manager at the moment I go to gym regularly and would like to get back into fighting again (used to do muay thai semi professionally) I play the Piano and Guitar. But I can't seem to take a chill pill, I have to always be doing something or I feel lazy and feel like I'm wasting my life doing nothing.

I can't stand going out to bar's or clubs or even to house parties to get drunk and trashed and get lucky with some trashy woman, I just want to either work gym or play music. Yes I've gone through vast periods in the last 2 years where there have been many months that I don't have any woman at all in my life, and the strange thing is I'm okay with it.

Have I gone bonkers ? Because all i see around me is people wasting their life's doing nothing yet having ample time to waste away socializing and fu(king around yet getting nowhere in life. I am by no means perfect I have an extremely long way to go achieve the many goals that I have, I can't even talk to anyone I know about these issues as they all look at me as if I'm weird or something.

Feed back please

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Go find a quiet place in the countryside, take off your shoes, and stand with your bare feet on the soil.

Then, meditate on your future goals. Think of nothing else but you, in your future.

Go. Seriously. Do this and let us know how you feel afterwards.

You haven't "lost it". Welcome to your evolution!

I thought I "lost it", too.

what tictac said, plus if you really wanted to nail a girl playing music and going to gym would be nice venues to know people, fighting too even more if you are in a competition. but you don't feel the need with is a good thing, you have other prioritys then the old and bashed on our heads, find a good job, a good woman, marry, have kids, die!

and I don't consider your restless that bad is good when you are still around 30 active like a kid, it push you to do good things to change things around for better, not just waiting things to happen or settle for the good enough, I did notice when you go out to change you for better something stick others don't, as long its good things I don't see any problem, like me I could pretty much do work home for months without a problem, now if I don't go to gym and go out at least each 2 weeks I get annoyed and try to gather some friends or a date and do something for me that was a good change, also doing some shock activities i never did or even think I would do, like skydiving (with btw almost killed my parents and my family) when I take note of they reaction about what I was about to do I though that was exactly what I need something so out of my character who could push me for new things, possible it did work, or at least I think it did, still working for several things but I don't want to stop, and I just hope I could be as restless as you Typical.

so don't worry, you are having a good time? then who cares, enjoy!

There's nothing wrong with you. I have tons of hobbies that I can't keep up with. I'm much happier building a computer for a friend or writing and recording music than sitting and watching a crummy football game for 3 hours.

Keep doing what you're doing. You're getting the most out of your time

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Enjoy the hell out of it now. I'm 55 and still do a bunch of stuff, but I'd really love to just sit on the couch at the end of a day.... Less energy. I end up forcing myself to do things I used to HAVE to do to burn off the energy

keep up the good work. focusing on yourself is way better than focusing on what other people are doing. especially women.

I can totally relate. I am one of those that is always super busy. I always have something to do and its always productive. Every now and then if I take a night off and watch tv I feel like I wasted an evening. It depresses me. I work circles around most people, am highly productive and goal oriented.

I don't feel one bit ashamed for being the way I am. I derive a lot of satisfaction thru the things I accomplish. I can pretty much fix anything. I rarely hire someone, prefer doing it myself. I always have to be doing something productive or I'm not happy. Life goes by pretty fast and there are a lot of things I'd like to accomplish.

For most of my life women have always been secondary as they should be.
