"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

I was just having a look at a few reviews of the book, "The Testosterone Advantage Plan" and thought this guys review reflected an attitude which is so typical of many people these days:

Review #3
Ranking 2
I just finished the 9-week program, which the authors wisely emphasize is just meant to get you started. I complied with the diet about 80 percent of the time, and the workouts about the same. I have gained a small but noticeable amount of muscle definition in my shoulders and arms, but I lost only about six or seven pounds ... roughly half of what I had expected based on the testimonials in the book. I'm pulling my belt in one more notch, but still wearing the same size pants, so I didn't lose the four or five inches their test subjects claim to have.
The diet is easy enough to follow, and includes enough recipes to not be too monotonous, especially if you use the principles to find additional meals. But at this rate, it will take me a year to reach my goal weight, and I know I won't follow it that long unless I get some significant success much sooner than that.

Did you see that last sentence? here is is again:

"But at this rate, it will take me a year to reach my goal weight, and I know I won't follow it that long unless I get some significant success much sooner than that."

Unbelievable, one measly, stinking year to get the body he's always dreamed of and he won't even attempt to stick it out unless he gets miraculous results fast. Perhaps he doesn't realise that the 7 pounds he's lost doesn't reflect the lean muscle he's gained, but with that attitude he can stay fat for all i care.

Anyone else seen this attitude among people they know?

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I agree. Excercise generally should not be undertaken for short term gains. It should be a way of life. When people accept it as central to their lifestyle, their goals will evetually be reached.

It amazes me how people "go on a diet" or work out routine for X weeks.

As soon as a person goes off thier diet or routine, eventually they're back where they were.

I agree. You have to look at it as a life style change that's forever.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

This sort of thing amuses me. I've been training over 10 years and still don't have the body I want and never will have. That's why I am continually striving to improve. Never stand still.
