"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

1st problem...........::::::Well to begin with, I'm in sophomore and not good at English(I mean English is not my native language). If you want me to approach the girl in the same country and speak the same language as me, I can do it SO EASILY, can get her number in few seconds(I really have confident about this). But this year I come to USA as an exchange student, and my english accent is quite bad and my main problem is It about what to talk, what should i say, is that weird to say. You know sometime you tell the joke that you think its funny and it's turn out no one laugh at your **** at all. I keep trying but it stil turn out awkward, so then later I slowly turn to be quiet guy. Talk a few words, example A:"How you doin?" "WHatsup" Me: Fine (and that's the end of conversation). Friends? have few and didn't talk to them that much. I mean I don't know what they talking about, what should I answer them? To keep conversation go on and not feel awkward. As i see people in HS, in class or whereandwhenever they can talk anything about Football, Show, Movie.

I just don't know where and when to begin the conversation and what should I answer or talk about. Back in my country OF COURSE I don't have this problem at all. But here it's like I talk to them and they don't know what I say, the conversation is boring. And sometime they just ignore me(ALOT OF TIME).

2nd problem......::::: Now it's about (AMERICAN)girl (actually I mean all the girl that not speak the same language as me). I try to approach some cute girl, but not that hot thou (no ugly girl allow for me :D ) and yes, b\c i have few experience about girl back in my country so get her number is not that hard for me. I even asked her to be my girlfriend and she accepted like miracle but then I don't know WHAT THE HEL should I do after that...call her and talk to her, use sweet lover word to talk to each other? It's ****ing awkward and weird to me not just sweet word but also in ENGLISH!!! This made me crack up don't what to say. So I didn't call her and the connection between us start to turn out to be just friend (Don't get me wrong I didn't get friendzone, actually it's me that tell her we should be just friend before everything get worse). So then I move on, I met another girl approach her get her number, now I change the way, I asked her for date, she accepted but then she didn't come......I don't know what did I do wrong? I think postively maybe she has something else to do, So I ask her for the date again for 2 more times!!!! and she accepted all of them and then at the last minute she told me she couldn't come? WHAT THE FUK DID I DO WRONG?!!!! Now, I don't have any confident anymore to approach those girl again. What I should do to solve the problem.

TRUE FACT DEEP DOWN IN MY HEART: I afraid to change my personality b\c I afraid that people will hate my changing and it's not like if I change my personality to be (fake) more outgoing I still don't know what to talk

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

*****es be flaking. Expect it.

Im a Norwegian in a mostly english speaking country. It might be hard at first, but it's no big deal. It's been almost a year since you posted about this issue. You havent done jack sh1t about it. How do you expect people to give you advice when you dont take it? Drop the defeatist attitude! Drop those damn limiting beliefs you have. You just need to go out and talk to people. Once you start, it gets easier.

I was an exchange student too and it was really awkward not being able to talk to people. I think it damages your confidence after you start having these language problems. After a week with some fellow Australians I was myself again, and I came back confident again and then all the chicks wanted some. Sure, it's difficult not speaking English that well, but confidence and body language is a lot more important and as long as you keep these, you could talk like a little kid and still get some success.

About that girl not showing up. You need to recognise that American girls might be different to girls in your country; they're supposed to be easy but that probably means they're also more *****y. If they call you to say they can't make it, then you say "thank god, I was about to call you, something else came up so I can't make it either". If you turn up and they don't come, then you cut them out of your life, ignore them and find a girl who isn't a waste of time.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
