South Dakota rancher wins $232 million jackpot

Wanless, who is single, lives with his mother and father on the family's 320-acre ranch near Mission, where they raise cattle, sheep and horses.
I wonder how many fancy schmancy city women will now find this man suddenly "ruggedly handsome"?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

The neighbor's name is Dave Assman...he sounds like a player already

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

He got ripped off, but still you can't complain with $88million, especially if you were poor to begin with.

I hope for his sake that he's got a strong personality to deal with his sudden fame and fortune.

That's why its sometimes dangerous to be an AFC and rich because if you don't know what you are doing, people are going to attempt to take advantage of you.

There are going to be a horde of gold-diggers doing everything they can to try and marry this guy or the very least have his baby.

There are going to be old and new friends/family popping into his life, asking to borrow/loan them huge sums of money without the intention of ever paying him back.

There are going to be business people trying to get their cut by introducing him to different business ventures that could potentially grow.

There are going to be con artists who will swindle him out of his money.

Fvck if I ever going to win a big jackpot, the first thing I am going to do is buy a ticket around the world and get the hell out of town for a very long time. It actually might be best to start fresh somewhere else where people don't know that you won or how much you are worth. Although you could play the "gold diggers" game to your advantage.

Evidently the nominal amount is to be paid over a long period, so there is the option to get the lump sum at the beginning, which would reverse amortized to equal the payment over the term. And then there is taxes (top rate of 36% + state.)

Nobody really wants to win the lottery. Now you have to deal with an endless stream of lawsuits being filed against you to rob you. Probably at least ten percent of the winnings will go towards legal fees. And then there's what DJDamage said.

But yes, his sexual market value just IPO'ed.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

A universe...where heartbreak and sadness have bee
LOL...

I remember back in my old chump-days, on one particular night, I was in a bar at college just eyeing up all of the hot sorority chicks drifting around. As usual, I had no game and ended the night frustrated as hell as all these sorority girls ended up connecting with all the rich fratties.

As I was walking home from the bar with my roommates, I remember thinking out loud, "This is bullsh*t. If I had a Ferrari parked outside, I'd..."

At this point, my one roommate cut me off rather abruptly and said, "...you'd WHAT? What would you do??"

I stopped to think for a minute...then I shut up.

Maybe some other people also need to ask themselves that particular question.

I don't know where you're getting this information from. Really, the major concern when winning the lottery is having endless lines of "friends" and "family members" coming out of the woodwork with sob stories and tales of woe which only money can fix.

Well, fortunately this type of mooching is self-limiting. There are only so many friends and family that could mooch. A small loan could be given to one, and once he welches, to paraphrase the Soup Nazi, "no more money for you!" With $60M in the bank, $1M should be enough for any friends and family outside nuclear relations. The guy could build a big ranch home with a side structure, and any friends of family members who would be hard on their luck could just be packed in there, like OJ's Kato.

If I won the lottery I would only ever give money to immediate family, but never to friends or anyone else.

When you give out money to a friend you always run the danger of them coming back to you later saying "I need more money, I had all this real bad luck and now I'm out. Oh come on what's a few hundred grand to you?"

They will repeat this over and over until they have sucked you dry.

Good way to kill a friendship is to give or get money from your "friend".

I had a debate with my dad today...I said that if you win the lottery you can claim it "anonymously" so to speak...at least get the dough without having to make a freakin speech on TV. He said you had to do all that BS as part of the stipulations. Anyone got word on this?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Excellent. I remember when I sold my house last year, all of a sudden I have $35k in the bank, already had a decent car and a great job. About a day later I found myself no different than I was before I had the money. I was neither happier nor better with women.

Christ, there are men who are practically homeless who can pick up women like no tomorrow. It's that damn TV showing men in nice cars driving around with hot women that teach us all these false lessons.

Its true.

Its part of the deal with lotteries, you win their cash and they get to use your image and name to advertise on your success.

He needs to spend about $20,000 and get the money offshore in a trust account. If you have to sue in a foreign country with different rules for the legal system, you discourage alot of the suits. Unfortunately, I see him broke in 10 years-owed back taxes, had a trailerhome repo'd, etc. He doesn't know how to handle money. You can't drink or ***** a big fortune away-you can only stupid it away.

Alright, I'm just going to say it...

That guy is pretty good looking. He is got the pretty-naive boy thing going for him.

And yeah, the fact that he is $88 million richer definitely helps with the ladies. I just hope he doesn't get shamed into marrying a "quality" woman anytime soon. The dude is only 23...with this type of fortune, he can stay single for the rest of his life and enjoy scores of women.

I think he is going to be married within a year.

Just reading this line says all: " I want to thank the Lord for giving me this opportunity and blessing me with this great fortune"

oh oh sounds like a hardcore christian boy, its his duty to find a wife and get married.....

It is also interesting to read in that article about 2 other people that won the lotto in previous years and what they did with it.

Evelyn Marie Adams won 5.4 million dollars in the 80's and lost all of it. Sounds like a very irresponsible woman to have lost all that money.

"And there's West Virginia's Jack Whittaker, who won $315 million on Christmas day, 2002, and five years later was blaming the money for causing his granddaughter's fatal drug overdose, his divorce, his inability to trust and hundreds of lawsuits filed against him.

"I don't have any friends," he told The Associated Press in 2007. "Every friend that I've had, practically, has wanted to borrow money or something and of course, once they borrow money from you, you can't be friends anymore."

See just like I said, get the fvck out of town.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
