It happened to me unexpectedly last night. Me and my friend was invited by his friend to join with them for hip-hop artist B.o.B performance at the local University.

To make the long story short. He performed outside, and it was free for everyone. We were trying to look for his friends to meet up with her, so we had no choice but to cut through the crowd because she happened to be in the front.

So f*ck it. We cut through the crowd in a respectful manner, with "excuse me" "pardon me", until we came across one dude...

The dude and his girl was standing still. His girl was standing right in front of him as if they were ready to grind on each other to the music. I gently ask him...

Me: "Pardon me, can we pass through?"
Him: "No, but you can go left" (in a disrespectful manner).
Me: Why's that?
Him: My girl is right infront of me. You can't pass.
(I give him the Mike Tyson stare down https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_yGjx-9RLE)
Him: You got a problem going left?
Me: You got a problem with me going foward?
(He tries to toughen up in front of his girl).
Me: Relax dude, it's not a big deal.
(His girlfriend turns around to him)
His girl: He's right. It's not a big deal, babe!
Me: Calm down before I calm you down. You better listen to your girlfriend.

He steps aside and let's us through.

Later that night, me and my friend was talking about how she might have broken up with him the next day (today) because of his "tough guy" act he was trying to put up.

But seriously man....I was ready to knock his stupid ass out. :box:

When i'm at a concert there is nothing that pisses me off more than when people try to push past me to the front when i've been standing there since before them, in many cases since the opening acts. I get there early for a reason. I wouldnt move either, you can go around me if you wanna cut in front

Which is exactly what I'm doing. Do you think I'm pushing people down to the floor and then throwing them to the back of the crowd? Foh. It's only one person (or two people for this time) but do you think it's going to make a tremendous difference? You or that f@ggot at the concert don't run sh!t brah. It's a free concert and nobody paid for sh!t for their seats or standing.

I had someone push me back at a club one day and I just ended up going around because he was trying to show off in front of his girl to not let me pass. I have been practicing my Jujitsu arm locks for just the next occasion.

I would love to ask them if they are going to let me pass as they scream in agony because I have them in an arm lock.

Jujitsu fighters are tough as hell man. But I guess it's not worth getting in trouble by the law and court because technically speaking, your body is a weapon after you've gotten your license for martial arts (depending on state).

I know in New York, your hands are considered to be lethal weapons after getting a boxers license. I'm not sure about Jujitsu.

Youre both d-bags.

Doesn't matter if its a free show....people don't like skippers who disrespect other peoples spot. I don't have to move just because you asked. If youre ready to fight strangers for ignoring your requests, youre going to get yourself hurt one day. I know a guy who would quickly cut some dude threatening him while he's with his girl. He doesn't try to get into scuffles around his women. His intent is to let you know to back off or he will put you down quick . (and depending on the place, if you threaten someone like you did, if you dare make any advance they have just cause to shoot you.)

Sure the dude could have told you no without being rude, but he doesn't have to move for you.

I was out at a bar with a girl I've been sleeping last night. Some random dude started grabbing her and I could tell she didn't like it. She's kept telling him to back off but he wouldn't.

So I facepalmed him, grabbed her and walked away. He came after us and I told him to back the fvck up. Panties instantly wet. Turns out it was her ex-boyfriend. Luckily he was smaller than me otherwise I probably wouldn't have shoved his face away.

I kind of think you were wrong too.

He escalated it with his cute douchey answer but trying to walk in between a guy grinding his girl is just asking for trouble.

I know I would look sideways at some guy trying to come between me and my girl for the night when we are dancing when he could walk around us. Is he looking to cut in? Catch a feel? Show off?

I've seen all those things happen and personally I've found that when I am doing the walking through a crowd and they're doing the standing I err on the side of politeness. After all it's their (temporary) space I'm invading.

Add liquor, testosterone, and pvssy into the mix and trouble can spark easily so I avoid.

I try to err on the side of being peaceable these days, but this is the most directly threatening statement in the exchange. When I was younger and more hot headed this would probably be the point I would start pummeling you. "Calm down or I will calm you down" is unquestionably disrespectful, whereas "No, but you can go left" seems entirely reasonable.

I agree with this. Why couldn't you just walk around them?

The growing amount of rude/disrespectful/hostile people are the main reason I don't even enjoy going to crowded bars or social establishments anymore. Everyone has something to prove or wants to start a fight. No tnx

Yep, you and Jaylan are on point here. I try to avoid fist fights nowadays, though over the course of my life I have been involved in dozens, because of having an extremely high strung personality and temperament. I have never ever in my life let someone disrespect me in this manner...

Seymour you are going to either get killed or focked up very badly, by someone who is much tougher than you.

A lot of people carry concealed weapons nowadays and LIKE to use them. Btw, I use to get a kick out of guys who made threats against my person, one of the first things i would do when they got into striking range is hit them dead square on the nose! The reaction I got from them is priceless...

always yield unless your cornered or life is endangered. Your case has nothing to do with standing up for yourself and you gotta be reallly careful. I live in NYC and just the other some guy got shot to death in the back of a public bus over a little argument. You ask someone to move, their not obligated to follow your orders. Simply take no for an answer and move on.

You shouldn't yield to anyone for fear of getting killed. I got in a fight at a bar two weeks ago and have no regrets. Getting kicked out of the bar is better than getting stepped on.

What's stopped me from getting into a fight is that I don't want to get fired from my job if they find out I got in trouble outside of work

Yes. On the night when I hooked up with my now ex of five years her beta orbiter saw what was about to happen and tried to intimidate me.

Him: (says some crap and puts his hands on me in an aggressive manner)
Me: You will never touch me like that again.

I think the words were less important than the icy-cold tone of my voice.

He may have also indirectly caused us to hook up. Three days before, he made some disparaging comment to me about not having a girlfriend. I think it hit some competitive switch in my brain so I did it just to fvck with him.

Now the most important stuff. You don't fvck with people you don't know because you don't know which one person out of those hundred you try to intimidate is gonna fvck you up. The most dangerous person I ever met had a sweet goofy smile on his face right up until the moment that he started going at me with a broken bottle. Yes he was winding me up and I got angry but it was absolutely my own stupidity that could have got me killed. Walking away would have cost me nothing.

Agreed. Nothing like dealing with self entitled Douchery to spoil an evening.

The few people I knew who caused fights in public all eventually had their asses handed to them.

Eating crow made them humble.

True Turuwal and you NEVER Know who has a gun or knife. I'm of the opinion it's better to live another day
than lose it all over some stupid argument.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.
