Just curious as to how much of you listen to hardcore and actually hardcore dance? I'm not the only one around here..

It's called SlamDancing.
Use to do it when I was younger....still listen to the music sometimes.

Hardcore is a genre actually...it's like metal music mixed with punk or emo lyrics

Slam Dancing is Hardcore...Just put Slam infront of Dancing. One my old buddies had a band that revolutionized New York Hardcore and Hardcore as a whole, he speaks about SLAM DANCING in the NYHC documentary which came out in the 90s.

That's really metalcore... but I don't want to start a war over genres. Funny you posted the Broken Front video... I used to post on the Poison the Well message board and I remember the guitarist(I think) who played guitar in Broken Front used to post there aswell.

The intro to that song in the video sounds fairly similar to a slightly sped-up version of Finch's "Without You Here"

Not really slam dancing. I was under the impression that slam dancing was where you wore chains and ran into people.
