It's amusing how many people die because of too much stress in this world every year... To deal with stress is to save your own life, so to speak..how?

Everyone of you knows somebody who is always negative, always finds stuff to complain about... stuff like "Well our team won but i only scored 2 goals" .. or "I got a promotion but i have to drive further"... or "I am going on a date, but i dont wanna spend money..." My best friend used to be a complainer for quite a long time.. it made me want to beat the crap out of him on numerous occasions..

There are two kinds of people in this world... those who are optimists, and those who are pessimists. Optimists look at the positive things.. no matter what the situation is, pessimists do the opposite.

I am an optimist, i can look at something bad that happened, and either find a good part about it, or say "well, sh1t happens".. and move on. Pessimists can look at a wonderful thing and say "but it isnt good enough.." , but what is the point of having such a sh1tty attitude?

A pessimist will find a model to date and come up with an excuse not to be happy about this fact....

An optimist will look at a car he just totalled, and say "Wow, I am lucky to be alive... time to get a new car!".

There is plenty of bad sh1t happening in this world as it is, dont add to it by having a negative attitude.

Part 2. Small things.

Some people love making a lot of fuss over simple things: " Who ate the last piece of bread, why didnt you wash this cup after using it, why didnt you clean this., who is taking out the trash today?.."

This tendency is very noticable among clean freaks.. they have a heart attack when they find crumbs on their couch.. hello, it's not a dead body, you dont have HIV, stop being a little b1tch about every tiny nuanse.

To overreact over simple things that can be fixed without stress is simply pointless... you dont like this dirty plate? wash it or get a new one! you dont like this new job? quit! You dont like driving to see this girl? Make her drive..

dont argue and explode over small things.. fix them, and move on.

Nice post!

A good book I recommend that has good tips on optimism is "Don't Sweat The Small Stuff." I forgot what the author's name is though. Oh well.
