hair gel which brand is the best?

Currently i use DEP hair gel and i know its a cheap brand. I have had people recoomend Garnier. Is gel better or hair spray? Can anyone recoomend me a good gel i can use on my hair? My hair stands up by the way even when i don't put gel but it looks messy. I would like the exact brand name so i won't have trouble deciding which garnier a or garnier B to get?

If you want to use a good hair product, unless your hair is kinda long, try American Crew's pomade. That stuff is really good. By far the best stuff I've ever found.
