Master Don Juan
So there's two new girls in my gym who are both new to exercise. I found out because I talked to them a little (just a couple of sentence exchanges) today. They weren't unfriendly, they smiled, but they were kind of on their guard. But that's not the biggest challenge.
The biggest challenge is the layout of my gym, which has guys' locker room and most of the strength training on the upper floor and cardio, group sessions and girls' locker room on the lower. The girls will also be facing a wall while doing cardio although eye contact is possible while passing across them from one direction. What this means is it's going to be really hard to contact them by being in their vicinity and going on the situation unless they are also going to the upper floor and I don't want to come off as the guy in their new gym who's deliberately coming to the floor I don't even work out on trying to pick them up, it gives off a weak vibe.
If they smile and greet me the next time I see them, or even look at me when I look at them (because then I can smile and greet them), then I know I'm in. And there I just realised I answered my own question... make eye contact the next time I see them. But what would you guys with more experience do?
