Sure, walking up to a chick and introducing yourself displays some confidence, but if there is no eye contact, or any other signal before hand, on her part, you're kinda fighting an uphill battle.

I don't just walk up to a girl, outta the blue. I always set myself up in situations where a conversation occurs. Department stores, coffee houses, libraries, waiting in a line up, you can be talking about a certain something pertaining to the immediate surroundings. That's where a little small talk, and some C&F come into play.
Get 'em giggling and relaxed, then do the number close.

This doesn't guarantee you're getting laid. This is the setup for a date where you can show her you've got "game".

Developing a sixth sense about which girls are "easier" to fvck is a must. You should be able to tell, in a short period of time, wether or not she's the type for a ONS.

Those are the ones you go after. Better odds.

You shouldn't give them a chance to flake. I don't mean be aggressive physically, but you need to be "on", and make your intentions clear early.
Don't tell her you wanna fvck her, but at least make it blatantly obvious that you wanna go. If she's feelin' it, then your good. If she flakes, then you don't waste anymore time on her.

It usually isn't my fault, either. Some girls have a problem with ONS. That's cool, you can't change their minds. The trick is to spot the "closet slut". The girl that plays nice, but if you get her hot enough, and alone, she'll jump you.

This was sort of the point of my original question, and I guess you hit it right on the point. Sometimes, I'll have that giggling and smiling in effect, then get the number...than nothing! So you can say that I didn't have any game, but I mean, I don't see how it could have been more convincing at the time ... then it's just like fluff..poof...zip and she's out. The opportunity to play doesn't come.
