Guys going ape**** over moderately attractive chicks at work!!

It is actually quite pathetic and I have seen it in every place I work in. Guys going crazy and worshiping 6's and 7's and let's not even talk about the 9's and 10's.

There is one girl here at work, who has a nice body and nice boobs, but her face is kind of wierd looking. Granted, all the guys in the kitchen worship her and talk about how hot she is. These guys are not good-looking guys, so maybe that is why. I noticed non-good looking guys tend to think everything is hot.

Does everybody else notice this in their workplace?

Nothing wrong with that. If I could find 2s and 3s as attractive as a 10, that would be great, just a wider pool of women to date. That's like being able to find brocolli just as tasty as M&Ms.

i notice this too. my reasoning for this is sometimes after being around so many guys when a new girl comes in its amazing to not be around so much cawk. I worked at this place where the staff was all dudes and this cute 6.5 came to work and it was nice to be around a women instead of a fat dude for 8 long hours.

also some of these dudes are married so its as close as they will ever get again

i think this has to do with the "exposure effect" i think i saw somewhere on this board. you tend to like things you're regularly exposed to more than others.

it seems to me that people spend a lot of time together when they work together, develop a sort of buddy bond (the AFCs do) sort of like between classmates in school, get to know them, and in their ultimate AFCness ignore that their not hot and try to get them on a date.

i have not met one woman who had a positive response when answering whether she would date a coworker (hot or not). its a no-go for most of them, but men (AFCs) can't seem to get that through their thick supplicating skull.

gotta love the ones that bring flowers to work though, i get a kick out of their nervous ramblings when they present them to the girl. needless to say, after that the guy thinks she's a total *****, she thinks he was kind of cute, but harmless, and now that he turned cold towards her, she just sees him as another ******* i love my job it's like the guys here have a schedule, every two weeks someone brings flowers :crackup:

Every single thread of yours I read has something to do with guys and their looks. Maybe you should consider your lack of success and realize it has something to do with your flawed thinking.. Those guys worship her because they are chumps, and we all know chumps come in all shapes and sizes.


On a side note, I used to live in Toms River. Relocated out of state last summer, probably the best move I made in a while, no pun intended. I think that town breeds losers.

most men are suplicating wuss bags, these men are 'lucky' if they score 6 girls in there life and are even 'luckier' if some women decides to 'marry' them.

Dont emmulate these guys and STAY WELL THE FUC* AWAY, or eventually there AFC programming will force you back into the matrix.

Become like that chick, rise above these suplicating retar*s and show them and her or any other girl who comes about, if they want a piece of you, they better dam impress you, or simply go up instead of debating her looks ask her out, if she blows you in, expect the AFC guys to laugh at you, but remember at least you made an effort now you can stop worshiping the false idol and move on to open and score with another girl.

At my old company there were a lot more guys in the workplace than gals so each girl was given more attention and because of the lack of competition the girl would appear to be more attractive than reality.

I see the same thing also at where I work, alot of guys gawk at girls that aren't that great and I mean really low quality chicks...but then again the guys seem to be low quality also....I also see that they try over exgerate one good feature that a chick has and then praises and worships that she is a godess just because she might have a "nice body" or "@$$"....I always try to disagree with them and saying their patethic but I guess that means more HQ girls for me....

I generally believe that some women can get extremely inflated unnatural perceptions of themselves. This is because of all the attention they get. After a while they start to believe all the bs and walk around in a semi state of goddess dillusionment. The opposite also seems to exist with illnesses etc such as anorexia.

I think society is out of wack. Too many emasculated men worshiping women at the expense of there gondolas.

The smart girls know that beauty fades. I'd rather be a guy any day of the week.

I dont know if I necessarily see that where I work, as in what you talk about, but more the reverse.

We have this new girl and she supposedly does some modeling. Guys are going to gawk, and give her a 9 or what ever, and I think she wears too much make-up (so what I saw when she introduced her self) and though she is really pretty, I am more attracted to the girl that is a 7.

What makes her better is the fact we have a lot in common, we can talk and have a good time, and we just click. If she was older I would pursue her over the other one.

So all the guys will be drooling over HB9 cause she is 18 and hot. Now I need to work with her more, but so far she just doesn't interest me that much. I mean in fact, she said to me... I've heard a lot about you before I even met her.

I'm not your nerd, i'm fit, and I do well with women.

Personally I see nothing wrong with it. I get tired of the guys who have to go after the hottest one. Just cause she's hot doesn't mean CRAP. I want to have something in common with her. I want her to be fun, and many other things. If I was out to just have sex with her, yeah, great and all, but I want a relationship and not just the pretty face.

Its kind of like the whole qualifying the woman for me. So you have your looks, and what else do you have? If she has nothing, I dont want it. Some guys will say... So what, she's HOT. That's fine if you dont want to have a real relationship. More power too you.

Now if the guys at your work place do what you say, maybe they are lower on the food chain, and a HB6 just to talk too is like winning the lottery. Maybe that's why they drool. I dont drool and act all dumb, but I approach who I want, and its a 7 and not a 9, so be it.

I'll tell you what will happen in my case. I'll give the 7 more talk time, and interest and the 9 will go... Why doesn't he ever talk to me that much (i'm prettier than her) Then she'll realize her looks dont matter to me.
