growth plate X-ray

I was reading one of Deisel's thread and he mentions something about growth plate X-ray. I am 22 years old at 5'5", which is really short. My dad is also 5'5", my mom is like 4'9", and my younger brothers are like 5'9" and 5'10". I am wondering if I could still get a x-ray on my growth plate, and where or how can I go get a growth plate X-ray.

I had it done as a 15 year old. I was around 5'5 at the time, and was told by the doctor that i would top out at 5'6 or 5'7. I am now 6'1, so therefore the doctors assumption was wrong.

Being 22 years of age, i doubt that you will continue to grow. The younger generation is very tall. I can't tell you, just how many male and female teenagers i see who are as tall or taller then me.

Speak to your doc and he should hook you up. If not, then measure yourself in a years time, and if nothing changes you will soon know.
