The beauty of the peacoat is that it probably the versatile piece of clothing in a man's winter wardrobe. The options are damn endless with the peacoat. At one end of the spectrum, you can throw on a hoodie, a beanie, some jeans, and sneakers or winter boots in the morning for school. Come that night, put on a shirt, tie, slacks, wingtips, with a newsie, throw on the coat and be good.
