I find if I pay strict attention to what people actually do (actions over words) I do not have questions about who someone really is. There are some slick liars out there who try to skate the edges of this kind of congruency (words and actions matching)...but they are being deceptive nevertheless. Actions are always where the truth is. Always. And the reverse is true as well. Sometimes what someone does tells you really positive things too...without it being verbalized.
