"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

I think you lack calibration skills, but then again, experience will teach you that.

Continue to ask her out, in a confident non-wussy way of coz.

Rejected? Try again. This girl digs the "First Date you"

Remember how you score during the first date? Same mentality

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

You kind of tripped yourself over by emailing. That let the air out of the balloon. It sounds like she thinks you may have brushed her off:

you had a great date, then you follow-up the bad way: email. I've done that too and it screws things up. email is bland, efficient, convenient...impersonal.

You should call her in a couple of days and ask when she is free the week after so you can go out again. Maybe you should joke about how you hate email tag more than phone tag. That'll help you recover a bit. As for the games other talk about..yeah they're always gonna be there so just enjoy the ride and don't trip up too much :)

Well fellas, I laid off the emails and all communication for the past 5 days. Then CALLED her today, just to have her pick up the phone and tell me she had JUST emailed me like 30 seconds ago... Checked my email and by God she really JUST had.. FreeeeeKeyy.. lol

anyway, on the phone she said that in her email she had told me that was very busy until next weekend but wanted to see if i wanted to go out Friday AND/OR Saturday, as in like both days possibly! So on the phone we made a date for Friday. She apologized over and over for not having any time to see me for almost 2 weeks (between our LAST date last weekend and NEXT date next weekend), but she said she really was busy. I told her "sh*t don't apologize for having a life and other things to do. Not to me. We will see each other when we see each other, and we won't when we won't"..

Things are rolling nicely with this one fellas. I've still got that sick nervous feeling that I am going to f*** something up, but I assure you guys I am doing everything I can not to show it. I really don't think it's coming out to her

Thanks again fellas!

Just keep your (short) conversations to telehone calls. Here's a suggestion to keep her on her toes; call her sometime during the week and ask her what she had planned to take you on Friday since you'd want to dress appropriately. No need for you to do all the work, right?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Hey, who ever said that whomever asks for the date pays only holds true if the guy asks? Also (to everyone), don't think that you can always get a free meal just because you believe you are the prize. You must pull your weight but it doesn't mean that you need to do it alone.
