Got tested for HIV yesterday

No, no. Im not saying I have HIV. In fact I have very slim chances. Im just concerned, and Im looking for reassurance.

About a year ago, I went to a party and got completely **** faced.. It was a complete sausage fest. One of my friends decided to hire an escort and me being stupid I went along with it. She didnt smell too pleasant.. but hey I was drunk, horny and ****ing retarded. Obviously protection was used, but oral happened. This will probably change the entire forums views on me, and thats okay. I got blood work done for life insurance and its going to test for HIV (I didnt get tested sooner because you have to wait 6 months to a year before it shows up)

Ill find out in a week, and Im incredibly nervous. Im 20 years old, and god forbid if I contracted it. I did some research and apparently for a first time encounter, its really nearly impossible to get.

Anyone here have any knowledge or experience with this situation? Ill let you guys know the results when they come back to me but like everyone says here.. Dont pay for pvssy. Ever. The thoughts of it have completely manifested my head, and I probably wont sleep until the results are in.. pretty scary shvt. Let this be a major lesson to anyone here thinking an escort is the way to go. I dont care how desperate you are. I havnt shown any symptoms, thank god. But some people dont even get symptoms.

The risk of getting HIV from oral is close to zero. It is a risk however and you've done the right thing in getting a test.

I'm a healthcare professional and one of my degrees is in molecular microbio. Cuzza is right... Your chances of getting HIV from oral sex is minimal. Furthermore, HIV is no longer the "kiss of death" as it once was...Its more of a chronic condition today assuming you have access to good care, and take good care of yourself.

There is NO reason to wait a week for the results. Google "free HIV testing" and your zip code; you'll get a list of local places that will test you and reveal the results in 15 minutes.

I just got HIV tested last month. They pricked my finger and 15 minutes later I received the (negative) results. Cost me nothing.

Google "HIV test county health dept." They'll do it for free.
