Got stood up today...

I stopped visiting this site because I was doing so well with chics.

Everything came together. Then today.

HB9.5 I met her at work, (She doesn't work there). She's always been really touchy with me, telling me she misses me and so on. I didn't talk to her for about a week, then she called me. We talked for a few minutes. I called her a week later, asked her for coffee. She said sure! without hesitation...telling me her schedule before I even said another word.
I said how about thursday at 330. She said great. We then got off the phone with her saying "I'll see you thursday"...

I thought I was in. I thought things went well. So I go to the meeting place, and she's not there. I wait 20 minutes, then leave.

I'm finished with this *****. And I'm going to reanalyze my actions over the phone.

You probably should have made a confirmation call on the day of the meeting so as to avoid these situations.

I was thinking the same thing too. :crackup: I still listen to my David DeAngelo CD's despite having a 3some 2 weeks ago and meeting a fine ass girl that calls me every fuc.king day last weekend. I guess you can't lose focus.

Bootlegger, you will only be relinquishing power if you let yourself.

Man, I love this sh*t and I do it all the time - you can play this to your advantage if you just:

A) Continue being calm, collected and cool around her at all times.

B) Don't change your behaviour with her one IOTA. Don't mention being stood up, in fact, don't mention it at all. If she brings it up, say, "No worries, I bumped into someone I know anyway and ended up hitting the town."

C) Act like you don't give a sh*t. Act all detached and aloof.

D) Do NOT under any circumstances ask her on another coffee date or date in general. EVER. Speak with her as if she was a GUY.

E) Then start DJing her.

After awhile, she may just be asking you out.

You could really f*ck with her mind by doing this, believe me. Act all nice like nothing happened. If you can then at some point let her see you interacting with other women etc.

At this point, she has relegated herself to the "Chicks I play mind games on" category.

Treat it like the game it is and amuse yourself doing it.

Read about this, but have never tried it (never been stood up for some reason):

Call her and apologize for not meeting her.

Yeah, we all know you were there, but she doesn't. So, now *you* stood *her* up, and balance of power is equalized.

You can see how honest she is too. Will she lie and tell you how she was there and that she waited for you? Or maybe she will tell the truth and admit she wasn't there either.

I've never heard what the results of doing this are...but would be interesting to find out.

Dude, do you want to date this girl or just beat. If you just want to beat then don't give her the axe just yet. You never know what could have happened to her and furthermore, if your feelings are not involved i.e. you just want to smash, then what do you have to loose by being persistent. The only two things that can happen is you end up tapping that azz or she ends up saying no. And then thats no problem cuz bytches are a dime a dozen playa. Gettin mad, and being like screw her, especially so soon, is straight simpin(AFC) man.

After about 15 minutes, I would've called her and been like, "Where are you??"

Although I've never had to do that...if the girl is interested and she's running late, she'll call YOU and apologize.

It's kind of late to call NOW, though. She'll realize you've been sulking for ALL this time over it.

Come to think of it, why HAVE you been sulking for all this time over it??

I'm not sure what the "Don Juan" thing to do here would be, but I'm pretty sure that that's not it.

Bootlegger! I can totally relate. i just got stood up last night and I'm so bummed about it. It would have been our third date. We've been talking for about two months. He asked me to go out with him on Friday on Weds. and then, poof Friday comes, no show no call. He seemed like such a nice guy and I had no clue this would happen. I have still not heard from him and I've called him about seven times.

I can't believe he would behave this way. I would never do this to a guy.
