so here is how it went.
im a senior nursing student at a smaller tech school here in PA. Very hard to sarge because classes all let out at different times and there is no real spot to socialize. so u never know when ull see a HB ur interested in getting to know. About a year ago a professor asked me to come in and teach her freshman class (i was a junior at this point) how to make medication information cards on the computer...a drug fact card basically. i went in and did the power point on them lasted maybe 15 minutes...i have a good personality, im "hip" told jokes...came off as lighthearted. at the end of the pp i said "so if anyone has any questions about the cards and you see me in the halls feel free to stop and ask and i can give you a more detailed lesson in the computer lab" completely thinking about med cards... one hb 7 approached me said she couldn't print them out. so i made appointment with her for end of week to show her again. at the end of the tutoring i said "now if you have any questions here is my number...text me and i can show u on ur own computer" she txtd me same night and said she was drinking and wanted me to come out. i did...and she informed me she got the med cards to work fine but she found me cute and wanted to get to know me more. at this point i laughed hahahahaah...i had no intention of sarging when i went into the room. it happened on complete accident.
so now the new freshman class is here. and i immediately capitalized on it and told a professor im good friends with that i have a program id like to show her class that i made. she gave me control of the powerpoint and i went off on it. told jokes..stories about funny things that happened to me..had the class smiling during the presentation. i used the same line as before right before i left "if you guys have any questions or problems my name is August and i can help ya out in the computer lab." as soon as i left the room i heard some girls just snickering LOUD AS HELL. like a "hehehe" type of thing...i knew something was up. i could feel some strikes on my fishing pole. now it was time to reel a few in.
next day i was outside before class and same teacher who let me do the power point came upto me and said "so which one do you want" i said "lol what do you mean" she said "oh well most of the girls thought u were very cute"
(right in front of my buddies..we always talk about the hb's in the class) hahaha. i said "well i think the girl in the front is cute, what did she say?" she said "well she didn't say you were but she didn't say no either
its honestly nearly impossible to get together with ppl from different classes. Because of the different break times.. i saw hb i was interested in outside three days after presentation and knew it might be a week before i saw her again. immediately went up to her...she was eating nachos and i asked if i could have one. i talked all about food and learned that they leave 20 minutes earlier for dinner than us so i said
(me) so you guys bring food back then?
(her) yea i usually go with my two friends here..we go to subway
(me) well that's convenient i love subway..subway melt all the way! my two friends like subway too. so since you get out earlier than us.. maybe you could bring us some back some food, so when we get out of class we have something waiting..you know u help us out we'll help you guys out."
(her) yea (laughing) maybe
(me) that could definitely work..i don't have your number so why don't you go ahead and give it to me..it wont be anything serious like maybe one or two orders like once or twice a week.
(her) ok.
she had darting eye contact with me..seemed nervous?
got the number on Friday called yesterday (Sunday)..got voice mail and my phone died in the middle of it. i txtd her immediately after i got it on the charger and said "hey my phone died..this is August...this is my cell. give me a call back"
she txtd me back minimal conversation nothing more than a sentence from her (but some people are like that in texting)
told me she was going to a party..and i said i was having a cookout.
i txtd her today and told her i went to Canada with my friends...she said "omg u should have told me" i said "well ive only talked to u for that little bit outside of school..i hardly know u i wasn't sure if ud wanna go or not..u seem like a pretty fun person do u go gambling a lot up there'
she didn't respond yet and i sent last txt a while ago.
not sure if i should keep texting her or call her maybe Wednesday?
i know the purpose is to create attraction and waiting for her to call u is just wasting ur time in the beginning. if i call her i can foresee me doing all the talking and being viewed as the aggressor..aka her being the prize. i might need to really keep it short like 3 minutes..get a date set up and get some drinks going to loosen her up?
