met this girl on myspace and she ended up going to my college. We talked a lot of back and forth online...life, things to do in the small town were both trapped in, and everything else in-between. I saw her couple of time on campus but never really said "Hi."
Finally summer hits and she said that we should hang out sometime. We both agree to meet for a movie. I know, not the best for a first date but I didn't want to scare her off (and were both really busy). Date went fine and we both said good bye.
Well, the next week she tell me to come over to her place and, drink, play some video game, just hang out together. Had fun, nothing really happens but definitely some sexually tension between us.
The next week, we go to another movie, I picked her up this time. When the movie ends she asks me to come back to her place. We played some video game for a while and then we decide to watch a movie again. So we get a little close and about half way through it I really want to kiss her.
#Side note: Currently I have been single for about 2 years. Before that, I dated a girl for about 4 years; we almost got married.#
So, with all manly might I go in for the kiss on the cheek; hoping it lead to something more. She says, "friends don't kiss like this, I have a boy friend - Kyle." I was absolutely stunned and said nothing for almost 5 minutes. Thoughts rolling through my head. We end up talking. She tells me that she does have a boyfriend and she was just looking to be friends. I have never heard or met Kyle, why haven't to told me? She come back with shrug of the shoulders. I tell her that I don't want to be a third wheel. And If I was Kyle I would be pissed to find out my girlfriend was see another guy. She tells me she has lot of guy friends. I explain that I don't have a lot of girl friends...? My mind and the little tingle in my stomach (which I had for her) was shocked.
I'm in a hole, I do like this girl. But I don't want to be a third wheel (friend). What do you think I should do? Stick it out and be her friend (Since then I have found out that they have only been together for 7 months.) or should I cut her loose...?
