Got my first cold-approach number

I've always met girls when out of town in stores, cafes, etc. but even with girls I really hit it off with I always just ended up walking away or letting her go. I was out of town looking for an apartment this weekend when I met a girl at an Old Navy store, she was working in the dressing room area where she'd fetch clothes for customers, etc.

Again I had one of those moments where I really it off with a random girl. I had her laughing, and talking her mouth off when I hopped into the changing room. After trying out my clothes and finding out the shorts were a bit too tight I simply walked away again. I stopped outside of the area and thought to myself, "god damnit screw this, I don't even know her and she'll never see me again most likely so I'm getting those numbers!"

I got a bigger size of shorts as an excuse and went back to try them on. After finding the right size I step out and we talk some more and I find out she's 22 and out of college with me being 18 and going into college. I simply ask for her number, she turns around rights it down on a peice of paper and we part ways

Such a confidence booster as I never do cold approaches as I live in a small town and know all the girls via HS.

doesn't it feel like your awareness and perception expanded like an explosion. Fear is just a ****ed up feeling.. don't ****block yourself with negative thoughts.. be a man and go with complete confidence and rip the pickup apart.

Good job here. Hopefully now you realize that getting numbers isn't really that hard and you just have to have the balls to ask. Hell, my first number close wasn't even that long of a conversation and eventually I just asked for her number and she said okay. So I think I asked her if she had any paper but she didn't, so I took out my phone and I asked her to put in the digits. Then after that I made a big newbie mistake, so excited with my first number I closed the phone before I could hit "Okay" or whatever and so the phone DIDN'T save the number. Luckily you didn't make that mistake. One more thing you'll probably learn over time is, numbers don't mean sh*t. A girl can give you a number and then flake, it's happened to me a lot.
